Authorities ID suspect as Saudi national in marathon bombings, under guard at Boston hospital

Authorities have confirmed to The Post that they have identified a suspect in the Boston Marathon bombing.
The suspect — a Saudi national who suffered shrapnel wounds in today's blast — is currently being guarded in a Boston hospital.
A law enforcement source confirmed to The Post that 12 people were killed and nearly 50 were injured in today's blast.

CNN just broke down and reported there is a person of interest. After, asking the guess how this could have been prevented -as if it could really.
They’ll let the runners vent a bit, then move along...nothing to see here.
Maybe next they’ll call it a “minor” mass casualty event. Mitigate a bit. Whatever it takes.

It’s entirely possible the Saudi National carrying the devices was unwittingly assign the role of martyr be his compatriates. They need a martyr to hold up, possibly the person with the trigger within a line of sight was trying to make him the unwitting martyr.
(Don’t mistake this for sympathy of any sort...just speculation.)
