Authorities ID suspect as Saudi national in marathon bombings, under guard at Boston hospital

Authorities have confirmed to The Post that they have identified a suspect in the Boston Marathon bombing.

The suspect — a Saudi national who suffered shrapnel wounds in today's blast — is currently being guarded in a Boston hospital.

A law enforcement source confirmed to The Post that 12 people were killed and nearly 50 were injured in today's blast.

Your post is Right on the button. Distinguished Massachusetts House Representative Capuano did not even have the courage to label this heinous event a terrorist attack while addressing the House of Representatives in Washington and asking for a moment of silence.

June Knight of Boston's WRKO reporting that there are 40 victims at Brigham and Women's Hospital, and that the hosptital is surrounded by SWAT.

She said that it's the only hospital with a SWAT presence, suggesting that the "person of interest" could be there.
