This case is about a doctor who killed babies and endangered women. What we mean is that he regularly and illegally delivered live, viable, babies in the third trimester of pregnancy – and then murdered these newborns by severing their spinal cords with scissors. The medical practice by which he carried out this business was a filthy fraud in which he overdosed his patients with dangerous drugs, spread venereal disease among them with infected instruments, perforated their wombs and bowels – and, on at least two occasions, caused their deaths. I think this grand jury should also look into indicting all the DOH imbeciles and other officials who neglected their duties for so many years and who, probably, were bribed by Gosnell to ignore his atrocities. They are accessories to his murders, no different than the clinic workers who assisted and participated in the murders. They are ALL diabolical!

Someone really kept a tight lid on this case through the 2012 election. The clinic was raided in 2010, this grand jury report was released in Jan 2011. Two years of silence. It can't be any coincidence that there is a 2 year statute of limitations on illegal abortions.
From the time Gosnell's clinic was raided in 2010 until now, word has obviously gone out to all clinics across the nation to prepare for inspections and audits.

We recommend that Kermit Gosnell be charged with 33 counts of performing illegal abortions. From the testimony and the evidence we have reviewed, we believe that Gosnell performed scores more such abortions. Violation of this law, however, is subject to a two-year statute of limitations. And investigators to date have been able to locate only a portion of Gosnell’s files from the past two years.Gosnell is known to have not kept records of the most illegal late term abortions. So, unless someone can offer up some hard evidence, he'll likely walk on any charges related to secret Sunday abortions only he and his wife provided for the most illegal cases. Abortionists across the nation will recognize if there is no record there is no case.
When Gorsnall did keep records, he is known to have falsified records of later term abortions. When his clinic was raided in 2010, large numbers of files are reportedly seen in the raiders videotape yet subsequently disappeared.

Between the time that law enforcement officials raided Gosnell’s office in February 2010 and the time that investigators returned with a warrant to seize patient files, many files disappeared.What the abortion industry may likely take from this is that Gosnell's mistake seems to have been keeping some records of illegal abortions. For the illegal abortions, rather than falsifying records, Gosnell should not have kept any record and charged cash only. Clean, up to date records should be kept only for legal abortions paid via insurance, or credit card.We viewed a videotape of the raid and saw files on shelves outside the procedure rooms. Latosha Lewis and others told us that these were recent second-trimester abortion files. The shelves were bare when investigators returned.
Tina Baldwin testified that “second trimester charts, usually those real big ones, they didn’t stay in the office.” Other employees corroborated her observation. Gosnell took those files home, Baldwin said, “if there were difficult cases or some cases where he thought they shouldn’t be in there.” A subsequent search of Gosnell’s home and car turned up only some of these files. Massof told us that Gosnell always took files home, so “I think he has them. If he hasn’t destroyed them, he has them.”
We also learned from the state Department of Health that sometime after the February 2010 raid, Gosnell suddenly filed numerous reports of abortions, including previously unreported second-trimester abortions. To complete the detailed health department forms, Gosnell would have had to have the patient files. We have reviewed these forms and, for the most part, the corresponding patients files are missing.
In a letter accompanying his March 2010 submission to the Department of Health, Gosnell advised that the information came “from patient charts [that] have been removed from the facility.” Based on this evidence, we believe that Gosnell, aware he was under investigation, intentionally destroyed or disposed of patient files.

We recommend that NAF reassess the membership of Atlantic Women’s Medical Services, the Delaware abortion clinic where Gosnell worked part-time before losing his license in that state. We learned that at least six patients were referred from Atlantic to Gosnell’s clinic in Philadelphia for illegal late-term abortions. These patients paid Atlantic for late-term procedures performed by Gosnell in his Lancaster Avenue clinic. We heard evidence that Gosnell would insert laminaria in patients in Delaware and then have them come to his Philadelphia office for the abortion procedure itself. The director of Atlantic Women’s Medical Services, Leroy Brinkley, was unconcerned. He did not properly supervise the doctors he hired as “independent contract ors” to assure that they were complying with the law. Remarkably, despite Gosnell’s long time association with Atlantic, Brinkley only produced three files for patients seen by Gosnell at Brinkley’s clinic.
The only way I wish mercy for them is if they come forward in the hundreds and testify to the monstrous murders of this killer and the filthy conditions they saw.
If their lives are torn they owe it to others to see that it ends.That is how they earn God’s mercy.

You’re right about giving a warning signal to other abortion clinics. Two here in Pittsburgh closed temporarily to clean themselves up before being inspected by the state. There’s no doubt in my mind that they would’ve been closed otherwise & were probably similar to what was happening in this filth pit.
I’m going out on a limb here, but I’m willing to bet the 55 million we often see as the number of abortions since Roe is a gross underestimation. How many places like Gosnell’s are in operation with missing records & unreported abortions? Probably quite a few.
Except these poor, uneducated women are easily exploitable and coercible. Most instinctively know to say and know nothing.
Yep and related to the missing records are persistent reports by pro-life groups of downstream physical and psychological issues by women who self report having had an abortion versus the pro-abortion crowd rebutting the claims by surveying existing medical records only.
The problem abortion cases obviously would have fewer accompanying records if any.

Liars all. We need an aggressive team of rabblerousers and organizer (Randy Terry, Pat Mahoney,and Mark Crutcher come to mind) to descend on Philadelphia and squawk until hundreds of women are motivated to bring charges, and dozens of local “authorities”are indicted —— or sued -—for dereliction of duty.
How something as horrific as this can hide in plain sight is really telling of our society today.
It’s really a wonder that the MSM aren’t showing full support of him and his butchery, but the fact that most of them are silent is support in itself.

I haven’t seen any mention of District Attorney Lynne Abraham, who was in office until January 2010, the abortion mill was raided in February 2010. Abraham ran a very corrupt administration.

The benches reserved for the media have been absolutely barren.
They found the bodies of several of the late term aborted infants in Gosnell ‘s freezer. There’s the evidence. It’s probably not all of the late terms he did, but enough, I hope, to fry his fat ass.
With people focusing on this the media will join the fray and find some Republican or pro-Life democrat to blame all of this on. I expect more than a few "in depth" articles claiming that the real problem is too few government employees and not enough tax money. They'll put a lot of effort into shifting the focus away from the real issue which is eugenics drive mass murder being carried out by the democrat fascist machine and through Planned Parenthood arm.
Having this summary available will help when that sort of article starts to appear because it's so difficult to get people to actually read a report that's more than a page long. All these excerpts are a big help.

As others have commented, the corruption reaches throughout the medical and law enforcement organizations of Pennsylvania. This is the same as what happened in Kansas with the help of Kate Sebelius and her underlings. One thing that has to be grappled with, among many issues pertaining to abortion, is that denying the rights of what was originally deemed to be a “few” (the unborn children, now 55 million) is that abortion corrupts the entire society, radiating out from the locus of the evil. The corruption of the media is part and parcel of that destruction. There no longer is a free press; we have instead a propaganda apparatus that only tells what is acceptable to the criminal network.
So there is a statute of limitations on Some Murders. Sickening.
