A cup of this...a teaspoon of that...
Only full-grown male crickets can chirp.
If our whole galaxy were the size of a quarter,
our solar system would be less than the size of a molecule.
Other galaxies would be from a foot to 1,000 feet away.
(hard to wrap my mind around this one)
The tails of comets generally point away
from the Sun whether the comet
is approaching the sun or receding.
In Leonardo da Vinci's famous painting of the Last Supper,
a salt cellar near Judas Iscariot was upset.
Orca whales are voluntary breathers.
For this reason, they sleep with only half of their brain at one time.
The other half remains alert to regulate breathing.
Resident whales typically remain near the surface,
breathing and swimming in a pattern.
When traveling together, resident pods have been
observed to breathe in unison.
Although it is not known why this occurs,
it could be a way of helping the pod keep tabs on one another.
A three-letter, one-syllable word
that becomes a three-syllable word
by adding one letter to the end of it:
The word "are" has three letters and one syllable
"area" has three syllables.
The FR Canteen is ALWAYS
Come in, sit down.
Grab a cup of joe, or tasty tea.
Mingle a bit, chat with the troops
or family member. There's always plenty of conversation,
silliness,
and plain old BS in the FR Canteen.

((HUGS))Good morning, Beach. How’s it going?
Good morning, beachy....I canNOT wait for this week to be over. The payroll system has not worked this week. Rather than pushing one button and having the whole payroll compute, 1100+, something doesn’t work and we had to enter 8 employees at a time. Then, because every other company was waiting for us, we had to run payroll without being able to see what was in it. Not a fun week so far. Today was finding all the issues, and who didn’t get paid. Got those fixed and paid.
