Via Newsbusters, something to tide you over on a news day that started out fast and has slowed considerably. Give Harris-Perry credit, at least, for fine-tuning her messaging. Youre not going to sell swing voters on far-left liberalism by telling them their kids dont really belong to them, but tell them that they have a right at all times to things they need and youre golden. If you polled the public on whether people should have a right to all of this, where would the numbers top out? Seventy percent? Eighty? The American public loves, loves, loves government spending, partly because theyre never asked to consider the zero-sum nature of federal expenditures in a budget that balances and partly because they still dont fully appreciate the consequences of endless borrowing. Both parties spent years shrugging at the fallacy that current spending levels can be supported by current tax rates. Under those circumstances, why wouldnt the average low-information think everyone should have the right to housing, food, etc? Throw in the right to phone service and personal transportation while youre at it. Put it on our collective tab.

My father always made it a point to tell me that the world didn’t owe me a living.
I guess Dad was wrong.
After Shrillery gets elected in 2016, America is officially flushed.
Yeah, but not at someone else’s expense. You also have a right to be clothed and fed and ride around in a limousine if you like and can afford it.
Jobs aren’t on this list. Must be only Democrats in the Target Audience.
All of this is happening because republicans don’t have the cahoneys to call Obama and the democrats out for the insane communists they have become. So every radical leftist idea is being unleashed.
And the GOP “leaders” sit around worrying that maybe a lot of people agree with this crap.
We need to stop compromising, intellectualizing, etc. and fight ideas that are destroying America.
She's committed to the destruction of the people who believe her in the Lenin/Stalin sense of the word, and will say whatever it takes to accomplish it.
But what about a right to T.V.?
I demand my Premium Cable and a 50 inch plasma!
From where do these rights emanate?
Only the “American” Dacha class.
The takeover is almost complete.
Since I work 60 plus hours a week,I feel that I do have a right to those things.The 47 percenters,not so much.
good point. On the other hand, I am glad that jobs are not on the list. Just as the Obama administration is dictating our health care and other facets of our lives, imagine if it had the power to dictate what jobs we work at.
Problem is, all this stuff depends on your perspective.
A 50 sq meter commie bloc apartment with intermittent electricity is a place to live.
Rice rations, beans and stale bread are food.
An antiquated medical facility with a state employed doctor making 50k a year is medical care.
Spoiled Americans with zero perspective of how bad it can get think "free" everything means they are going to get a mini-Kim Kardashian lifestyle.
Even worse, our new neighbors from Mexico and south do KNOW how bad it can get but think the golden goose white man can never run out of golden eggs.
Wow! Like in “room service”? O.K. government, send me a turkey club sandwich , pronto!
A right is the ability to pursue NOT to infringe upon the property and talents of others.
Does anybody have HarrishphenPerry’s credit card number? I want my free lunch.
From the 3rd Amendment.
They will declare all liberals to be "soldiers" for the cause, and then declare the "war on women" or something (maybe even "terror"), and then demand these soldiers to be quartered in your house, to eat your food, and wear your clothes. :-)

“From each according to his abilities, to each according to his needs.”
To whom does the “from” and “to” refer?
*****
‘The State’ will take from each according to his abilities, ‘The State’ will give to each according to his needs.
Or...
*****
‘The State’ will take, ‘The State’ will give.
That is exactly what I have been saying for at least three years now.
Only a 50 inch, what about surround sound and theater style seating and while we are at it I want a stocked snack bar as well as a wet bar!
