ILION, N.Y. Remington Arms will be staying in the Mohawk Valley for the foreseeable future. Two days after sources say Remington Officials met with three State Senators and three Assembly, U.S. Congressman Richard Hanna announced that the Pentagon would be awarding Remington an $80 million contract. In the meeting, sources say, Remington told the State lawmakers that they were moving forward with a $20 million upgrade to their plant that employs 1,200 people.

Boycott Remington and let them know about it. Long past time to draw some bright lines.

Maybe if you gave it to me. Otherwise, not a chance. I won’t be purchasing any firearms or ammunition from manufacturers that are tolerant of/complicit in the undermining of the second amendment.

Well damn. I recently bought a new 870 tactical and then put a ton of stuff on it.... I have about $1,400 into this project + cases of ammo. This timing sucks.
I intend to buy a second shotgun, it will not be a Remington.

The date on the story is March 8th.
Has anyone verified the story or verified whether this is still Remington's position?

They’ve only been making guns since 1816.

I always found that Remingtons worked well.
Plus their ammo WAS fine.
Maybe the market will help them to find the way.
