On Saturday, April 27, 2013, the D.C. Chapter of FreeRepublic.com will hold our 15th annual freep of the White House Correspondents Association Dinner.
As always, we are inviting FReepers and lurkers in good standing to join us as we greet FRiends and foes alike from the media-political-entertainment complex as they make their way to the dinner.
Last year's theme was "Breitbart Is Here" in tribute to the recently departed Andrew Breitbart.
The Hollywood Reporter wrote abour our freep that same evening.

This year, we'll be dedicating the freep to Doctor Raoul, who passed away last month. We will also reprise the "Breitbart is Here" theme with the signs and t-shirts from last tear.

This is the one freep that brings you face to face with media titans, reporters, politicians, government hacks, entertainers and the occasional hero (like Col. Buzz Aldrin)
One year we were interviewed by Drew Barrymore
Every year we meet conservative politicians like Sen. Tim Scott and Lt. Col Allen West; Fox faves like Megyn Kelly and Bret Baier; conservative writers like Byron York, John Fund and Ann Coulter. And of course we get to freep hordes of liberals.
The dinner is traditionally attended by the president so we'll likely get in a quick freep of Obama as he arrives for the dinner.
When: 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, April 27, 2013.
Where: Connecticut Avenue at T Street, NW, Washington, D.C., across from the Hilton Washington.
We'll have some signs, but bring your own if you are inspired.
Street parking is limited. There is pay parking at the Hilton garage and the garage bounded by Florida Avenue and T St. The nearest Metro stations are Dupont Circle and Adams Morgan/ Woodley Park/ Zoo on the Red Line.
We will have our traditional post-freep gathering in the Hilton sports bar (or wherever in the hotel we can find seating and service :-).
As always, the D.C. Chapter's rules for protesting will be in effect. Briefly, they are: No violence, no profanity, no racism, no provocations, obey the law and treat all law enforcement officers with respect.

Florida FReeper FRegards FoR a wonderful event!
Is there a Missouri chapter of FreeRepublic.com?
Like Ernie Banks I plan to play two. See you there.
I believe you are now the President. It only takes one to start an avalanche.
Shouldn’t I be vetted before becoming president?
BTTT!
