Connecticut Gov. Dan Malloy (D) ripped National Rifle Association chief Wayne LaPierre on Sunday as someone who reminds him of the clowns at the circus.
Malloy was responding to LaPierres criticism of Connecticuts new gun restrictions, signed into law after Decembers elementary school massacre in Newtown. LaPierre said the new rules wont affect criminals but will only make things harder for law-abiding citizens.
Wayne reminds me of the clowns at the circus. They get the most attention and thats what hes paid to do, he said on CNNs State of the Union. This guy is so out of whack, its unbelievable. Ninety-two percent of the American people want universal background checks. I cant get on a plane as the governor of the state of Connecticut without somebody running a background check on me. Why should you be able to buy a gun? Or buy armor-piercing ammunition? It doesnt make any sense he doesnt make any sense, thus my reference to the circus.

This guy is a governor?
OTOH: Little Danny Malloy is loaded with “whack”. He’s “whacked” out to the max.
They are losing the debate, so they attack with ad hom’s... Keep pounding them Wayne you’re doing a fine job!
Connecticut’s governor makes all these wild-eyed assertions without one iota of evidence. Not one.
On the other hand, his speech and behavior comprise volumes of evidence affirming how “out of whack” he is with respect to the content and compass of this country’s founding documents.
May Connecticut lose all their gun manufacturers, after all, it will be illegal in Ct. to own even a Ruger 10/22, and may he and his fellow travellers be crushed in the next election.
another case of the Pot calling the Kettle purple
Hello kettle! So it’s come down to this huh? A guy defending the constitution is the nut bag and the guy who signed away his constituents rights is the sane one? Freakin’ bizzaro world for sure.
Redreno. Are you in Reno? I am.
Malloy is a liberal that knows he has no effective arguments and has lost the debate intellectually. People protecting gun rights need a backbone more than ever. I would even suggest using the left’s tactic of vilifying your opponent. Now is a time to correct in our arguments and down-right nasty in attacking our opponents. The nice thing is that we can use our opponents own words to attack them.
“Why should you be able to buy a gun?” The gun grabbers’ true agenda revealed.
laws don’t prevent criminals from having guns. Why can’t they understand this?
Let’s see. The “polls” say.....blah, blah, blah. I contend that the record sales and “non-universal” (you know the ones that don’t check with the police department on Uranus)background checks are a better measure of the desires of the “people”. Millions are voting with their wallets. Not 1,972 likely voters. What an asshat! He and king hussein would make (maybe do)fine bed fellows.
Allow me to be te first: FUDM.
No. He stole the election in 2010 from Ambassador Dan Foley.
Passing more laws will not solve anything, especially when the ones we already have are not being enforced
Considering the very high number of gun sales in his state right now, I would say that this idiot is out of touch with his constituents and seriously out whack himself!
More of the typical Left wing projection.
Isn’t his state the one where all the last murders of children took place in a gun free zone?
I agree. Wayne LaPierre is extremely out of whack. He’s so out of whack he should leave the country. Actually he should form his own country. And everyone else who agrees with him should leave, too. It’s time to part ways. The Governor can have his side, and those who agree with him, and Wayne can have another side, and those who agree with him. Let’s go our separate ways.
