Border Patrol falls under DHS. So, um, were are all those billions of rounds they purchased? No quarterly qual fire means you’re not qualified to carry weapons. That means you’re off the line. All by design?

This has been going on for 6 years or better. Maybe a few ammunition company execs need to be hauled before congress to explain why they aren't opening new production facilities.

Well according to this article Border Patrol has around 94,000,000 rounds. We were burning through about 55 million per month in Iraq in a hot war so unless they are planning on killing a chitload of illegals 94 million rounds should be plenty.

I believe that the Obama administration is up to something
extremely dastardly. If they can’t disarm the citizens
outright then they intend to limit the supply of arms any
way they can. But for what reason? Are they planing to do
something that the vast majority of the people will not
accept? I think Obama is getting ready to “fundamentally”
change America totally and intentionally against the will
of it’s people. It is looking like he’s baiting Ding Dong Un

It’s a budget issue not a supply issue. They are also looking at canceling qualifying for 1 quarter.
