Good evening, CMS...((HUGS))
Doing well...going home shortly to a “thanksgiving” turkey dinner. I got it from work and it has stayed frozen out on the deck. Spring weather means thawing and cooking time.
Work going well? Still doing electronic stuff?

An eventful day.
Last night just before I went to bed, John Man told me that we didn't have any hot water. This morning John Man and I opened up the water heater. The upper thermostat was burned out due to water damage arising from a leak in a copper pipe above the water heater.
We - mostly John Man - replaced the thermostat, used a blow dryer to dry everything out, reconnected the wires, put a patch on the overhead copper pipe, and flipped the switch on the circuit breaker.
We can bathe again - the community rejoices!

O Love That Will Not Let Me Go
April 3, 2013
Love is the centerpiece of thriving relationships. Scripture makes it clear that we need to be people who lovelove God with all our hearts, love our neighbor as ourselves, and love our enemies. But its hard to love when we dont feel loved. Neglected children, spouses who feel ignored by their mates, and parents who are alienated from their children all know the heartache of a life that lacks love.
So, for everyone who longs to be loved, welcome to the pleasure of knowing that you are richly loved by God. Think of the profound impact of His love that was poured out for you at the cross. Meditate on the fact that if youve trusted in Him, His love covers your faults and failures and that you are clothed with His spotless righteousness (Rom. 3:22-24). Revel in the fact that nothing can separate you from His love (8:39). Embrace His loving provision of a future secured for you where you will be eternally loved (John 3:16).
When John tells us that we ought to love one another, he calls us the beloved (1 John 4:11; see also 3:1-2). Once you embrace how wonderfully loved you are by God, it will be much easier to be the loving person God calls you to beeven toward those who dont show you love.
Were the whole realm of nature mine,
That were a present far too small:
Love so amazing, so divine,
Demands my soul, my life, my all. Watts
Embracing Gods love for us is the key to loving others.
Read: 1 John 4:7-21

You Are a Saver |
You believe that a penny saved is a penny earned, and you do your best to save all your pennies. Some people may say that you're cheap(my brother), but you're just planning for your future.
You'll spend your money on what really matters, but you choose to spend logically and strategically. You sometimes blow money on unimportant things but not often. :) |

Tested as saver. Today I took a new pants to tailor to get hem. Going to cost $10.00 and it bugs me to spend that much or like wanting to do it myself.. Used to be about $6.00 just 3 years ago.. am I getting to be an old cheapskate?

I'm doing alright.
No, I'm on Rear D currently, the rest of the unit is deployed. I'm not going this time, instead I'm taking care of those that are ETS, PCS, Med boarding, new arrivals, and doing 100 different other tasks.
