GOP Sen. Mark Kirk of Illinois said Tuesday he supports same-sex marriage, becoming the second sitting Republican senator to make such an announcement in recent weeks.

No “Kirkbot” has convinced me of anything. I deal with reality.
>>> Sooner or later, God is going to call in his chips and a lot of people arent going to be celebrating anything.
Ummm.... it’s sooner:

From the state of ILL-n-Annoyed-— another RINO for Barry.
Apparently not, since you’ve bought the establishment lies that Kirk’s Senate seat was liberal Democrat controlled for ages until “electable moderate” Kirk came along and saved us, instead of the reality that it was held by a conservative Republican immediately before Obama held it for 2 years of a single term.
In Kirk's case, vote fraud.
Every single viable conservative who was "considering" filing in the primary against Kirk was bullied behind the scenes by the establishment and told to endorse Kirk OR ELSE (State Rep. Jim Durkin, the 2002 GOP nominee against Durbin, for example, threatened to run against Kirk, then immediately backtracked and endorsed him in the primary the next week)
A tainted and corrupt Chicago machine Democrat with dismal approval ratings was put up as the "fall guy" against Kirk, so either way the machine would get a liberal in the Senate. Kirk was such a pathetic RINO candidate that he STILL ran a horribly flawed campaign (got caught lying about his military record, which the mainstream media ignored but was eventually forced to report on when Kirk made up ridiculous B.S. like he had "commanded the pentagon war room")
EVERY single poll, conducts for weeks leading up to election day, showed "electable" Mark Kirk was trailing in the race, and behind the "unelectable" conservative nominee for Governor, with EVERY demographic group in Illinois (seniors, college students, hispanics, suburban voters, downstaters, etc.)... then, low and behold, on election day... Kirk somehow "wins" and the conservative "loses".
Kirk does "better" than the conservative in places where he had zero ground game and didn't even lift a finger to campaign, which "proves" liberal Republicans are more "electable"
Mark Kirk eagerly posed for photo ops with Obama after supposedly being elected to "embarrass" and "stop" him, and he and his liberal Democrat "opponent" went out to lunch together the following week, got all kissy with each and even exchanged "gifts" while slapping each other on the back:
The really pathetic part is some conservatives have actually drank the kool-aid that this "proves" that "only moderates are electable"
Don’t get sucked in...these people seem to be mocking Christianity and trying to create arguments.
Sorry, but being pro-infanticide and pro-sodomy crosses the line.
I lurk in this forum because it’s a good place to get the occasional breaking news story, and to point out a few issues that interest me. I do not need the like of you telling me what is the source of my views or other bullcrap. You want to make a difference in Illinois, you freakin run for Kirk’s Senate seat in 2016. Go give your finger to the establishment instead of bomb posting anonymously in this forum.
Hardly a shock. Every liberal Republican will come out for faggotry soon enough. And unfortunately some not so liberal but not so principled ones will as well. Loving father and fool Rob Portman opened the door.
I could get in some Kirk bashing but this goes well beyond Mark Kirk, all of us knew that Mark Kirk was a liberal Republican before he was elected to the Senate. If he has an excuse to take a liberal position, he’s gonna do it.
We are losing this issue big time, 12 months ago even liberals like Kirk and Collins wouldn’t have dreamed of endorsing gay marriage.
Hell it was less than a year ago that OBAMA endorsed it. Less than a year. Before that he was afraid he’d get destroyed if he did. Talk about rapid, I’ve never seen anything like this.
Oddly enough some liberal democrats have yet to officially “come out”, Tom Carper JUST did. 7 democrats in the Senate still haven’t. They better soon or the gays will LYNCH them.
They are Manchin, gun control traitor of WV.
Nelson of Florida, just reelected.
Heidi! of North Dakota just “elected” thanks to the reservation vote,
Joe Donnelly of Indiana just elected cause Mourdock is an idiot, We’ll see if he has any principles, doubt it.
Tim Johnson, retiring.
And Mary Landrieu and Mark Pryor, up for reelection in states where people read the bible.
Don’t you think the gays must be upset that all these liberals people that already supported them were too afraid to say so till now?
I hope they direct their anger at Mary and Mark. Everyone email those cowards and tell them to stand up for gay families. LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL
I recall reading that Kirk, who is divorced, is gay. So, I’m not surprised that he voted yea, instead of nay, aside from the fact that he IS a RINO.
In other shocking news, Former New Jersey Governor Jim McGreevey has announced that he, too, supports turd poker "marriage".
Connnnnn!
>>He is a tiny little twerp, cant be more than 51.
It was very surprising to see how short the population of DC is in general.
When I was there for 912 I went there early and was standing on the platform for the Metro and a looked around and.. sheesh, I thought I was in Munchkin Land.
I thought they’d be taller.
At the rate things are breaking the whole country will soon take to the streets to demand “gay” “marriage”.
Same here. We didn't leave the Republican party. The Republican party left us.
Because they are co-opted players for the one party system we now have. They make conservative noise when necessary, but from time to time, they vote for the communists.
Against principle. For money and power.
LOL!
In April 2005 on the Arizona/Mexico Border as one of the Minutemen, I tried to warn people about the Mexican illegal alien invasion, That did not work either!
We need the Minutemen REVISITED!!
Some of us never forget....like true elephants.
His staffers DID not establish his opinion on this, Mark Kirk IS a Homosexual.
