1975 Olds Cutlass. Beauty of a car to waste on a Walmart.

Beauty of a car to waste on a Walmart.

True that. It deserves at least a Macy's or even Nordstrom's!

Latest update, except for plywood over one of the entrances, it looks like nothing happened inside. Only one employee injured.

Back in 1964-69 I lived off of Story road on Karl street. The last time we were back there our split entry house had bars on the windows. It was scary driving down that street.

Is that the corner where Newberry's was?

Only one employee injured.

It amazes me that so few people get killed in these things. I've seen several where cars plow into buildings and people go flying all over the place and no one gets killed! Not always, of course.

I considered buying a place one block over on Hopkins, glad I didn’t.

Wouldn’t have mattered too much, the ex got the place I did buy in Blossom Valley anyway.

You'd never see this at a Wal-mart in Houston.

Their renta sheriff program would have had that vehicle shot to pieces before anyone was touched by so much as a headlight.

Must have been having a sale on produce.

Headed for the produce aisle; does that mean it had something to do with celebrating Cesar Chavez's birthday?

"Emma Prusch Farm Park"

We met Emma Prusch and saw her home there. Long time ago.

Never had a chance to meet her myself, but people seemed to like her.
