We lost AGreatPer last year. He passed away in August. He was 73.
His passing was missed as his wife, who would have notified FR, had preceded him in death.
AGreatPer was a D.C. Chapter stalwart who traveled from Pennsylvania numerous times to stand with us outside the Clinton White House, Cheney's House, troop support rallies, counter-demonstrations of anti-American leftists and our six-year-long Walter Reed vigil.
AGreatPer had a great personality, he was a pleasure to be around at a freep and at our after-freep lunches and dinners.

Freep-mail me to get on or off my pro-life and Catholic List:
Please ping me to note-worthy Pro-Life or Catholic threads, or other threads of general interest.
Oh no. A Great Loss. Prayers up for his loved ones.
Thanks for the post.
I certainly remember reading and trading many pleasant posts with AGreatPer over the years.
Another great freeper and great American, RIP.
Lord Jesus, rest the soul of our friend with the saints.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, amen.
Sad news for the Rush Limbaugh ping list.
RIP, FRiend
RIP to another great FReeper.
I’m so sorry to hear this, Kristinn. I freeped with him several times in DC—both in front of the White House during the Clinton years, and was with him several times at WRMC.
He was “a great person.”
May his soul rest in eternal peace.
Crap... I LOVED AGreatPer!! Dr. Raoul also.
May his soul rest in eternal peace...
R.I.P., AGReatPer. Prayers up for comfort for his remaining family members.
Yes, kristinn, he was a great guy and a patriot, as are you.
So sorry to hear this. I met him at a WH FReep when Clinton was still in office. I met you, AGreatPer, Dr. Roual, BMWCLE (?), Angelwood, Exit62 (or 142), Jimmy Valentine’s Brother, and so many others on a Sat. morning FReep. A Great Per brought his young son with him to FReep. He also brought him (in tuxedo) to the Inaugural Ball in 2001. I was an interesting and kind person. He helped me plan my trip through PA back to Wisconsin. Told me where NOT to stay, etc.
May he rest in peace and the Perpetual Light shine upon him.
Prayers for his soul in this Easter season. May he rest in peace.
If you have the obituary would you please post it.
Thank you.
Thanks for the phone call Kristinn. I am sorry to hear that you confirmed his passing.
I remember sitting with him during the rallies when I was in the wheelchair, or not walking much, a few years ago.
I miss so many of the old “names” on FR. It is nice to see them return to honor the FReepers from past events. I hope we do not continue to find this is the reason they are not posting!
Thank you for posting this, Kristinn.
I will always remember the humor and gentlemanly demeanor he brought to our Freeps here in the Philadelphia area. He loved America deeply, and had a keen sense of justice.
Once at a Clinton appearance in Philadelphia, there was a Mummer string band playing outside his venue. Dirtboy and I were doing the “Mummer’s strut” to the song “Oh, Them Golden Slippers”, when AGreatPer started singing “Oh, That Lyin’ Clinton”. We all started singing and hamming it up, to the point that even the leftist demonstrators on hand were laughing.
It shames me that he passed without my noticing for so long. I’m not around here much, anymore, but that’s no excuse. I am my brother’s keeper.
He sounds like he was truly a great American and Patriot.
RIP
More sad news.
He was special to me. We used to Freepmail quite often. I’m very sad to hear of his passing. May he rest in peace.
Yes—I was so saddened to hear about A Great Per’s passing.
May he rest in peace.
He was one of the good guys!
