After issuing a ruthless take-down of actor Jim Carrey, FOX News Host Greg Gutfeld responded to Jim Carrey's complaints about the network for mocking his parody video ridiculing Charlton Heston and gun owners.
In the video, Carrey sings that, "Charlton Heston movies are no longer in demand, and his immortal soul may lay forever in the sand. The angels wouldn't take him up to heaven like he planned, because they couldn't pry the gun from his cold dead hand."
Gutfeld added that Carrey had come out of the fight looking moronic.
"Thats why our countrys great, because washed-up comics have the right to suck," said Gutfeld. "I love the first amendment, and Twitter especially--for it exposes the soft underbelly of the celebrity simple mind. They undo everything their publicists try to mask. The mystery is replaced by the moronic."
Gutfeld argued that Carrey was such a bad comedian he chose to attack a dead man - Charlton Heston.
"I guess Jim thinks he couldnt lose a debate to a dead man," Gutfeld concluded. "Thats whats really funny; he did."

You’re thinking of Drew Carey.
Oh, yeah, Drew Carey is the funny one.
Curly is a lot better looking, too.
Carry just destroy, at least damaged, the careers of those involved in the kick ass movie due in august.
if anything they should table it and try and reslice around him.
It sure would fit.
“will do comedy for food.”
The Canadian Jim Carrey has made an entire career in America of stretching his mouth.
Little surprise, then, that he’s continued to stretch his mouth at the expense of Americans in his private life.
Right on, Flyer!
Canada already has enough cheese.
Another comic going the Ed Asner route.
Does he not play both Bevis and Butthead!
Sure would be a good role for the jerk!
Who is this guy and why should I care about his opinion on a truly great actor, Charleston Heston?
Sounds like someone who wanted to be an actor, couldn't act so he videoed himself (like preteens do) to get noticed by making fun of a Shakespearean, Oscar winning actor, who acted for decades before becoming head of the NRA.
He did a great job of exposing himself, just kept digging that hole.
Gutfeld showed he is the funnier guy:
“Thats why our countrys great, because washed-up comics have the right to suck,” said Gutfeld. “I love the first amendment, and Twitter especially—for it exposes the soft underbelly of the celebrity simple mind. They undo everything their publicists try to mask. The mystery is replaced by the moronic.”
To mention Jim Carrey in the same sentence as Curly Howard is an insult to Curly. And mentioning. And sentences.
Not to split hairs (or hares) Drew Carey was in the Reserves. Still noteworthy in it’s own right. “After leaving the university, Carey enlisted into the United States Marine Corps Reserve in 1980 and served for six years. He relocated to Las Vegas for a few months in 1982, and for a short time worked as a bank teller and a waiter at Denny’s.”
A true wordsmith that Gutfeld.
Yes, and I play basketball like Larry Bird without the talent.
