Once upon a time a rock star craving attention would simply bite the head off a live bat. Generating that kind of buzz today can only come by announcing one’s opposition to gay marriage.

I read the entire article and still I am a little confused. Is this about an extreme liberal who believes gay “marriage” (there is no such entity) is a bad thing?
She has been a liberal icon for years. She has become a Christian and is prescient in the fact that the warping of the idea of marriage will cause serious problems and that her saying such a thing will cause someone to ‘falsely’ claim that she said that ‘God hates fags’.
This is what awaits ALL who stray from the Liberal Democrat plantation.
But, but I thought Liberals/’Progressives’ claimed they were tolerant!?
When did she become Christian? Has she become conservative, too?

She was raised in Mormonism - left it and became hugely liberal, then eventually became born again.
I followed the same trajectory out of Mormonism. It is pretty common to reject all that is good and God once you leave a cult.

I do not believe so. There are many liberal Christians. They are misinformed as to the idea of giving to God what is God’s and to Caesar what is Caesar’s.
That is what I understand. She has been far Left for years and also gay. I am not sure what is up with her except that she was turned on by her base.
She is a Leftist and a Christian that is opposed to gay marriage.
