Mayor Bloomberg admits soon NYPD surveillance cameras will be on nearly every corner and in the air.
'You wait, in five years, the technology is getting better, they'll be cameras everyplace . . . whether you like it or not,' Bloomberg said Friday. 'The argument against using automation is just this craziness that 'Oh, it's Big Brother.' Get used to it!' Big Brother is watching. Now get used to it!
Envisioning a future where privacy is a thing of the past, Mayor Bloomberg said Friday it will soon be impossible to escape the watchful eyes of surveillance cameras and even drones in the city.
He acknowledged privacy concerns, but said "you can't keep the tides from coming in."

There are ways to mitigate surveillance. Infrared LED arrays, clothes with magnesium threads embedded in them, &tc.
If his dream come true, I hope he lives long enough for the “SkyNet” deathpanels to put him out of his misery. It's for the "public good" after all.

Bloomberg is seriously deranged. I am constantly shocked at the amount of BS the city of NY puts up with. Have visited NYC many times, I consider it fun and like a 3rd world country in it's bribes, fixes and mordidas..... kinda like Mexico was like back in the 60's and 70's.
He is evolving into one of the biggest threats to civil liberties of the 21st century.
