Reckon Jim Carrey lost a few of his 10 million Twitter followers Monday? In a biting "Hee-Haw" themed Funny or Die spoof, the outspoken comedian takes aim at America's "heartless" gun enthusiasts -- including Charlton Heston, the late actor and former NRA president.

That video is almost as funny as a fat white guy with armed guards saying fat white guys are all armed. Or as funny as a rich white guy getting special permission for his guards to be armed in a gun free island while preventing those at risk from owning guns on his island.

Carey should have his body guards give up their guns.

Btw this song didn't even crack iTunes Top 100. Carey's career is in the crapper, while Charlton Heston's The 10 Commandments will be occupying a 5 hour timeslot and probably dominating programming for that night like it has for the last 50 years. Who's movies are still in demand Jimmy?

I watched about two minutes of it...then flipped it off. I couldn’t find much of anything amusing. I’ll admit he hasn’t done anything of quality in five years. If I had to pick a star ‘flaming-out’....this is the guy.
To: Biggirl
Since the days of In Living Color - he hasn’t been funny...it’s the same routine...and this is no different, probably trying to become relevant again to get a new spot in a movie...

This is a cry for help from Carrey. His career is dead and gone and he wants Hollywood to love him enough to throw him a bone once in a while.
Attention Hollywood: this sort of thing doesn’t change people’s minds, it just pisses off your customer base. Go ahead and try to make a movie profitable by releasing it only in NYC and LA.

So he's taken time off from his obsessive personal war on childhood vaccinations, then?
Good thing he's found another stupid cause to occupy his pea-sized brain.
To: BCW
Like I said in a previous post. He is a one trick pony whose trick is old and about played out.

"Dumb and dumber."Well, not yet. "Dumb And Dumber 2" is due in 2014.
More to the point, Carrey's next release is the sequel "Kick-Ass 2" - an ultraviolent movie featuring automatic weapons galore, where a teenage girl continues her role as an assassin in the guise of a superhero.
 |
Carrey plays "Colonel Stars and Stripes" and is depicted here in the very first movie still release by the studio, pointing a .45(?) at an Asian man's head. |
Total Canuck hypocrite.
To: Biggirl
Carrey peaked at Fire Marshal Bill more than a quarter century ago. It's been downhill since.
To: Biggirl
I find it ironic that Mr. Carey proposes that male gun owners would own a gun to compensate for a lack of testicular fortitude, when he uses comedy to compensate for a lack of confidence or personality.

I love the Truman Show, and met him years ago when he was a star. He was very nice back then. it’s sad to see how he has fallen.

Carrey reached his career pinnacle with Ace Ventura: Pet Detective. He's been coasting ever since.
