Really sick about the Texas “certified” text books. It’s time for a major rebellion!

Reminds me of the leftist I faced who vociferously insisted that 9/11 was in retaliation for George Bush’s invasion of Afghanistan and Iraq; which, of course, had not yet occurred on 9/11.

Really sick about the Texas certified text books. Its time for a major rebellion! It's not a certified textbook. It's an online course paid for by the local school district without any state money.

I haven’t been able to find the video clip from Kara’s appearance on Fox and Friends on Sunday. If I find it, I will post it.

How strange this is in Texas. I guess none of us are immune - no place is safe anymore.

Sorry, but why does that matter? This is an education problem that is the responsibility of the State of Texas (t least it is at this moment)! Do something about it!

You know, I am thinking the same thing - how could this happen in a conservative state of Texas? Something is wrong, somewhere that we are currently missing...
If we are missing this, what greater items are we missing? Something tell me that even Texas is in trouble. It must be that the Education system has infiltrated Texas with their liberal philosophy. Even that requires that the local folks have been absent in their school districts.

The review process applied to textbooks hasn't yet been implemented for online courses. Believe me the Texas legislature is writing bills to correct the problem right now. The publishers have gotten away with all sorts of outrageous content by requiring school districts and teachers sign non-disclosure agreements about the curriculum with potential criminal and civil liability. The schools and teachers were until a few weeks ago prohibited from disclosing information about the course contents to parents.
