Hall of Fame basketball player Earvin Magic Johnson spoke out on behalf of President Obamas healthcare law on Monday. ObamaCare is working. I talk to a lot of CEOs of hospitals. It is working, he said on MSNBC. Johnson was speaking on "NOW with Alex Wagner" about the NCAA basketball tournament, but he veered into politics at the end of the segment, lauding conservative Florida Gov. Rick Scotts (R) decision to accept the expansion of Medicaid under the Affordable Care Act. IIm glad that Gov. Scott down in Florida accepted ObamaCare because it will work, he said.

In 2009, we paid $5100 for a HSA, ($5000 deductible). Now, it is $12,200 for the same policy.

Yep, I’d have to agree with him.
It is “working” and doing exactly what it was intended to do.

Silly homo.
First of all, it’s not helping hospitals, they are merging, and there will be failures in the very near future.
Second, if “Magic” was on Obamacare, he wouldn’t be beating the HIV virus.

Guess AIDS has impact his brain - or maybe not. He was probably always a jerk.
What do you expect from somebody who plays Idiot Ballet on a basketball court for a living?

If he is implying that Obamacare is doing a good job of collecting taxes, he is correct.
If he is trying to imply that anyone has received medical care as a result of Obamacare, he is deeply incorrect.

I'm a retiree of one of the world's most famous hospitals (hint;it's in Boston) and still have good friends there in management. To a man/woman they tell me it's
NOT working and that as the process gets farther along they expect things to get
much worse.
Earvin Johnson is a semi-literate basketball player. The top people in hospital management that *I* know are very literate indeed. And they know something about the health care biz.

When Johnson takes it up the a$$ again and gets another dose of AIDS, I hope he has to show up at the free clinic with his Owebamacare card.

Looks like Magic needs his wealth redistributed. Maybe he should be allowed to keep 25%.

I talk to a lot of CEOs of hospitals. I think he's lying.
