Hall of Fame basketball player Earvin Magic Johnson spoke out on behalf of President Obamas healthcare law on Monday. ObamaCare is working. I talk to a lot of CEOs of hospitals. It is working, he said on MSNBC. Johnson was speaking on "NOW with Alex Wagner" about the NCAA basketball tournament, but he veered into politics at the end of the segment, lauding conservative Florida Gov. Rick Scotts (R) decision to accept the expansion of Medicaid under the Affordable Care Act. IIm glad that Gov. Scott down in Florida accepted ObamaCare because it will work, he said.

I do not know one single person who is covered now that was not covered before. I do know of many people who are paying a lot more for the same coverage because of this law.
So, I guess it is working to take more money out of peoples pockets and give it to the big companies.
To: Nachum
Psst, “Magic.” It hasn’t fully kicked in yet.
You may want to stick to the other dribbling you were noted for.

Whenever I find myself pondering life’s really big questions, I find myself - sooner or later - asking the same thing: “what would Magic Johnson have to say about this?”

I'm sure
somebody's making money, and I'm sure those somebodies paid a lot of money to lobbyists to make sure ObamaCare continued to indemnify their market position against the risk of free-market competition.
But at the end of the day, Magic, I'm pretty sure the people who are winning big are not the ones you think. :)

Sheesh. I guarantee that if Obamacare had been in place when Johnson first contracted AIDS.....
He’d have been dead, dead, dead long before now.

Here is how Magic Johnson lives. Take a gander at his house and ask yourself if HE ever has to wait in line for a doctor or if he ever worries about paying a premium.

("AP" clearly stands for American Pravda. Our news media has become completely and proudly Soviet.)
To: Nachum
It was the same way in the USSR - the current “five year plan” was always “working”. To say otherwise was, shall we say, inadvisable. This is the basic principle at work here. It’s not working because it’s well - working. It’s working because it’s what we’re told to think.

Magic Johnson: ObamaCare is working It's crippling the private insurance industry, doctors are quitting, employees are having their hours reduced.
Yes, it is doing exactly what it is supposed to do.

Every once in a very long time, Dennis makes a little sense.
As for foreign diplomacy, Dennis ranks up there with Kerry!
