Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) on Tuesday voiced support for the work of a secretive bipartisan immigration coalition in the House, but he said Republican lawmakers must be educated on the issue before legislation can advance.
A group of eight lawmakers four Republicans and four Democrats has been meeting privately for years to craft a comprehensive immigration overhaul, and they told Boehner and other Republican leaders last week that they were close to a deal.
He also refused, as he has before, to weigh in on the contentious question of a path to citizenship for the illegal immigrants now in the U.S.
The House group has received less attention than its counterpart in the Senate, which announced an agreement on principles for immigration reform in January and is hoping to release a full legislative text in the coming weeks.
House Minority Whip Steny Hoyer (D-Md.) on Tuesday said the negotiators were very close to a deal, which he said would include a pathway to citizenship.
"I don't want to go into specifics, that's for them to announce," Hoyer added, saying he expected them to share the plan in the near term.[SNIP}

It makes no difference HOW many polls show the US Citizenry does not want this!
More than half of U.S. citizens believe most unauthorized immigrants should be deported, according to a Reuters/Ipsos poll released in February [SNIP]

Is there any way we can primary this bozo out of office in 2014?
That's all you need to know.
Yeah, with pitchforks, tar and feathers, the only way left.
"Camps will be established in Maryland for the re-education, and will include desensitization courses that help "conservatives" understand that sometimes young children, pregnant ladies and old men need to be shot for their own good," Boehner said calmly.
Agenda 21 must pay well.
I wonder what Boehner’s pay off is that he’s willing to destroy this country?
We the people completely rejected their Herculean efforts and told them to go to hell.
The only opposition in the house I find to this is this one, and of course the media/house leaders don’t want us to know about it.
Bipartisan Group of Lawmakers Introduce Immigration Reform Resolution . Duncan Hunter, Jason Chaffetz (R-UT), Frank Kratovil (D-MD), Glenn Nye (D-VA) and 18 other House members who introduced The BRIDGE Resolution states that Congress:
* Make E-Verify mandatory for all employers and hold employees accountable as well;
* Provide sufficient border infrastructure and manpower to secure and control our borders;
* Reject amnesty or any legal status that grants citizenship to those living in the U.S. in violation of current law.

No problem there, Johnny. You're constantly getting schooled by Obama and the Dems...
We could build a "path to Mexico for the illegal immigrants now in the U.S.", so they could join the line behind those who didn't break our laws already.
Don't forget the rope.
Oh, good lord.
I just wonder who they are polling, even my Mexican and South Africa friends find this offense, it took them years to get here.

One of the biggest problems is these losers in the GOP “leadership” are in such gerrymandered districts. They couldn’t win a competitive race against the Dem/marxist machine for dog catcher.
The “fix” was in the minute the bill was presented.
The only thing the Republicans think of is how they can stay in office and continue to enrich themselves in both money and power. Nothing else matters....not even the Constitution.
To do so, they must go along to get along with both their current voters and potential voters.
Guess what ethnicity they are? Don’t think too hard but I will give you a hint: They don’t assimilate into our society and they receive a huge portion of welfare.
Now, the timid and weak Republicans are horrified that the illegal Mexicans don’t like them and have swarmed into our country like a giant migration of lemmings. The most astounding thing is that they all follow the Democrat carrot and all that the Republicans can do is to hang a giant free taco in front of them and try to get them to forget the carrot.
How about the law? Well, as I said the Republicans don’t care. Eisenhower (a Republican) came up with Operation Wetback and sent thousands of them back across the border. Oh well, that was back before Johnson’s Great Society.
“Oh well, that was back before Johnsons Great Society.”

Anyone else getting sick and tired of these "bipartisan committees" meeting in secret to come up with crap that nobody wants?
How about we do it the old-fashioned way: committee hearings and witnesses and marking up bills, just so we know where everybody stands.
Hot tar is too good for these traitors.
Just the thought of being a participant in an angry mob surrounding these amnesty-pushing traitors does indeed make me downright salivate.
Duncan Hunter has been standly firmly on the side of the law and conservatism since the 108th House passed HR4437, the best anti-illegal immigration bill ever. THAT would’ve fixed all the problems.
Too bad Tancredo isn’t there to back him this time around.
