If they call it sanity to believe giving criminals such an advantage over the rest of us will reduce crime. Then we should all find ourselves all living longer more secure lives among the so called “insane”.
Or perhaps we should simply say that if giving criminals such an advantage leads to greater safety then Washington D.C. should be the safest city in the world.

The Newtown shooter illegally killed people in a gun free zone with while illegally in possession of guns. Regular folks not bent on murder do not routinely illegally carry guns into gun free zones. Anyone who can’t see the clear advantage in that situation is an idiot or an ideologue.
