Sen. Rob Portman: I’ve changed my mind and support gay marriage now
As the wind blows, so blows gay congressman.
His internal polls are telling him he won’t get reelected again if he doesn’t capitulate.
NEVER!
Portman talks like a gay blade himself.
So if his son had stolen from a charity, cheated on his wife, failed to pay taxes, sold confidential information to foreign nations, got busted for DUI, or jumped a subway turnstyle, what sort of reaction could we have expected from Portman?
Get rid of this embarrassment, Ohio. Sheesh. Good thing his offspring isn’t a transvestite or Rob would start wearing a dress.
I don’t think that there was ever a time on FR when Portman was not known as a rino, and that goes back years.
This isn’t a huge surprise.
I’m with everyone else here who has ended support for Portman. Either there are ‘fundamental truths’ or there aren’t. I’ll look for another politician with conviction to lead by principle, not by whims. “You cannot legislate morals, but you can legislate morally.”
It matters not what other people do in their bedrooms to me. But holy matrimony is a sacrament from God, not to be destroyed by the sins of man. Get government OUT of the Church’s business. Everyone should be equal under the law, therefore everyone should be subject to civil unions. It’s the only way to save the church from the Evil coming.
