Is that one of them ‘gun free’ zones? Sounds kinda dangerous.

Thank goodness that d.c. has those strict gun control laws (unenforced)in place to prevent such travesties from occuring. WHAT! The laws didn’t work? Well then we must quickly pass some more (unenforced) laws to prevent further such incidents from happening. Seriously. You either have to be REALLY stupid or a radical left wing extremist demokkkrat scumbag to be unable to understand the concept that the bad guys don’t give a damn about your/our laws. But then again “stupid” and “RLWEDS” is redundant. Certainly limiting the “clip” capacity to 10 would have meant that only 10 max might have been injured. Unless there was more than one shooter. Or they didn’t care what difi and durbin have to say. How about we “require” all new inductee’s into MS-13 have universal background checks too. What morons. Except they know exactly what they are doing.

Gun control at its best...
Also, while the Metro system is great, certain stops are fave places for mob assaults...you can figure out where those stops are.

Shot in front of the Tyler House.

I remember a resident once saying when it opened.

” They won’t be no rats in the Tyler House”

Boy: was she wrong. Rodents and Human rats alike live there.

Right across the streeet from “Big Bens” Licky Sto.

Well just put up a sign that says “gun free zone” and the useless pieces of trash will just turn in their guns and take up safer hobbies.

There is no part of DC at night that is “good”....in the daytime, DC is like Disney World....all the government workers ingress through underground tunnels into the playland and fill their seats, grab their government checks and provide all the trips and trappings for the major Character Players above in the Capitol and White House.

One big effing Disneyland for the Senators, Congressmen, and Executive Branch political appointees; all pampered and serviced by these daily immigrants.

At night, they go home, leaving their charges to the protection of the Secret Service, the DC Police, the Capitol Police and the multiple teams of armed bodyguards.

What’s left are the dregs that Eleanor Holms Norton serves as the non-voting Congressperson from DC....

Reason #1 why, if I can’t CCW “there”, I don’t go “there”. Getting robbed/shot once in 1974, in Fla, and surviving (still carry the bullet near my spine), was quite enough for me. I just can’t imagine having to “live” with this kind of crap, day after day after day, for my entire life. Sure, it can happen anywhere, but big cities’ odds as in Post #2 are much greater. JMO.

You know, maybe they ought to ban gun ownership in DC, so this sort of thing won’t happen again. Oh... wait...

If we compare D.C. with Fairfax County, or Northern Virginia, which is just across the Potomac River, we would see that gun-related violence, including homicides and armed robberies, are probably ten times more likely to occur in D.C.

Could the difference be the larger Black and Hispanic communities in D.C.? No, there are as many Blacks in Northern Virginia as D.C., and many more Hispanics.

Could it be those in D.C. are poorer and more likely drawn to crime for that reason? The answer, again is no: many parts of Northern Virginia, Prince William County, for example, have as much poverty as any part of D.C.

Could it be that D.C has made it almost impossible for one to own a handgun, while Northern Virginia has few such restrictions and a must-issue concealed carry law? Maybe.

Could it have something to do with the judiciary, where in D.C. one can get be convicted of robbery or manslaughter and get probation, where in Virginia one will see the inside of a jail for the smallest property crime. I would say that's the largest part of it.

I was thinking they all must have been waiting at a bus stop? Wouldn’t they be at work or at home?
