On this weekend's broadcast of The McLaughlin Group, regular liberal panelist Eleanor Clift accused Senator Rand Paul of trying to "stir a revolt against the U.S. government."
ELEANOR CLIFT: I'm with John McCain and Lindsey Graham, who basically said this was over the top and creating a sense that the government is really just waiting for this opportunity to drop a drone on you. But, I'll grant you the point. The ACLU put out a statement siding with Rand Paul and this is where the left and the right do meet.

Why would Ms Clift say that? I have always seen her as liberal, but not nuts.
If Paul Rand is promoting sedition, then so has Hillary Clinton. And Rand didn't have to screech hysterically...

Liberals can't see the danger because they are blinded by the liberal language of our attackers. Language can be twisted to leave a false impression...just as the issue of using drones on Americans on American soil is the tipping point for conservatives but invisible to Libs (because it goes to the very character of Obama...he is the one who gets to decide who is a terrorist and who is not. This is not a problem for Libs because they think Obama is a centrist. They do not see his dark side--they don't want to admit their own blindness).

Her first marriage was to William Clift Jr., brother of the late actor Montgomery Clift. They had three sons. The couple were later divorced.
Her second marriage was to Tom Brazaitas who was a DC writer for the Cleveland Plain Dealer newspaper. He died of kidney cancer in 2005.
Eleanor Clift has appeared in four movies....."Rising Sun" (1993), "Dave" (1993), "Independence Day" (1996) and "Getting Away With Murder" (1996). These were mostly cameo roles or small parts playing herself.
