The Amnesty Twins disgrace themselves yet again.

I am disgusted. John McCain and Lindsey Graham are despicable, and must be run out of office. Here's why.
Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) led a 13-hour filibuster against the confirmation of CIA nominee John Brennan yesterday, in response to a merely to try and get an answer to a single question for Barack Obama and Eric Holder: Does the president have the authority to use a weaponized drone to kill an American not engaged in combat on an American soil?
This followed a stunning comment from Attorney General Eric Holder suggesting that the president has authority to use drone strikes to kill Americans on US soil - without trial or even arrest.
"The president could conceivably have no choice but to authorize the military to use such force if necessary to protect the homeland," Mr Holder said.
Americans from across the political spectrum were rightly outraged by Holder's statement, and Democrats, Republicans and Libertarians alike praised Paul for his filibuster, once Holder and Obama refused to answer his simple question. Even left-wing media outlets criticized most Senate Democrats for not participating in the filibuster in defense of civil liberties.
Joining Paul were 15 of his Senate colleagues, including Ted Cruz (R-TX), Mike Lee (R-UT) and one Democrat, Ron Wyden (D-WA) - all demanding an answer to Paul's question. And today the question was finally answered, as Holder reversed himself, through White house Spokesmouth Jay Carney said: "The answer is no" - a clear reversal of Holder's prior statement, and a victory for all Americans who do not blindly trust their government to safeguard their civil liberties.
But according to John McCain and Lindsay Graham, the question should never have been even asked.
They attacked Sen. Paul for his filibuster. McCain called Paul's question and filibuster "ridiculous"; that it was merely a "politcal stunt" to "fire up impressionable libertarian kids in their college dorms".
Graham was even worse. To Paul, his colleagues and outraged Americans demanding to know if the president believed he had the authority to drone-kill citizens on U.S. soil, Graham said the question "offended" him and that I do not believe that question deserves an answer.
Disgraceful.
And where were the amnesty-pimping twins while the epic filibuster was ongoing? With Obama, of course. McCain and Graham were dining with the President whose A.G. had claimed drone-kill authority.
Just as the two had lunch with Obama on the very day DHS released thousands of criminal illegal aliens onto American streets - which outraged the entire Republican party - but curiously did not seem bother McCain or Graham one bit. They merely said:
"We had an excellent meeting with the president and the vice president this afternoon during which we discussed our effort to pass comprehensive immigration reform legislation this year. We were pleased to hear the president state his firm commitment that he will do whatever is necessary to accomplish this important goal."No concern about criminal aliens on the loose after a lawless release by Obama's DHS. No concern whatsoever about the civil liberties of Americans amid the introduction of weaponized Federal drones in this nation.
Do these poor excuses for public servants represent you? They sure don't represent me. Arizona conservatives had a chance to ditch McCain in 2010, but failed by putting forward a deeply-flawed, infomercial huckster against him in the primary, against whom McCain unethically used millions in leftover 2008 Presidential funds to thrash his opponent in spending 20:1. We won't get another shot until 2016.
But we don't have to wait long at all to fire the disgusting Lindsay Graham - he is up in 2014. Let's make sure it is his last term in any office.
To remind you of just how vile Graham is, let's recall his appearance in front of radical ethnic pressure group National Council of La Raza ("The Race") during the last amnesty battle (which he lost) in 2007. Here is Graham telling La Raza how he would handle YOU...
It's clear the man is more than a bit off now and it's due to one of a few possibilities:
Either something a) age related mental degeneration or illness or b) flare up of latent damage, possibly stemming from his crashing planes, getting shot down and/or prison abuse or c) he is owned through blackmail or some other coercion or d) he truly is on the other team, but still calls himself a republican.
I realize that Senate seniority often brings advantages for the state that sent him or her, but this one is well beyond its "Discard by _____" date.
Again, my apologies for being among those who initially helped get him started. Every action has consequences and that bit of karma has come back around.
Senators Paul, Cruz, Lee, and Rubio are just what our founders had in mind when they first spoke out for Liberty!
As a high school teacher of history and government, how great it was to have my students come to me on their own to speak of “filibuster”, the 5th and 14th amendments, “due process”, and their relation to presidential power. They were truly excited to have witnessed a real filibuster, having just studied it.
McCain and Graham are all wet in their petty attacks on Rand Paul. They tried to confound his concerns over due process rights for American citizens on American soil with “enemy combatants” waging terroristic war on the United States abroad. These are two distinct scenarios. The question only arose because our own Justice Department issued a policy paper stating their power to act in just this fashion. Absent probable cause of an iminent act of war, lighting off a nuke for example, American citizens are entitled to due process. McCain and Graham attacked the new Tea Party conservatives with a venom they would never unleash on any Democrat. Indeed, they sat at supper with the most radical lefist ever to occupy the White House, while Senator Paul quoted the U.S. Constitution on the Senate floor. The lines of battle could not be more clearly drawn.
Sure I can I just wont vote for one...
I made my call to his office. He always seems secure and no one on the right ever challenges him. Maybe it’s time to vote for the rat..there’s no difference.
I used to give McCain a pass because of his service, but no more. As far as I’m concerned, he, Graham and the rest of those jerks who voted for Brennan are traitors.
I found out that Limpy Gramnesty , the effeminate, from stupid south Carolina in behind in his reelection next year!! The wonderful Representative Wilson you yelled out “YOU LIE” at the state of the union to that idiot omammy is whipping Gramnesty like a red headed step child!! I ask all freepers to give big bucks to Wilson. It is all on wikipedia!!
As for McAmnesty. Just ignore him until he leaves our party like Arlen Spectacle in Pennsylvania. He is an omammy suck up real bad and wants to invade any country he can think of. Truth is he was a complicit “prisoner” of war in Vietnam and spilled his guts to the commie bastards and got real special treatment— so good ,in fact. They wanted to release him first. He knew that this would expose him real bad as a collaborator so he fell back in the crowd so no one would know he was a coward collaborator!! Check it out— absolutely true, in my opinion.
Good. Me either. ;-)
Rand Paul voted “No” on the Brennan confirmation.
Funny how an Admirals son got into flight school and was a terrible pilot and is now a war hero.
I am just saying...
SCREW THE GOPE!!!! My money and time will only go to conservatives!!!
why? is it a repeat of this mornings rant? What a bunch of aholes
McCain and Linda are just throwing a tantrum because their little mixer with obama got upstaged by Rand Paul.
Does anyone know or care what they discussed? No one in the media is talking about it.
So sad to be ignored.
(sniff)
I have a neighbor who hates mcnasty so much for his role in vietnam he and his family voted for obie the first go around.
Frankly, I find McCain offensive and Graham ridiculous.
Correction: They are WHAT they are...
Is Joe Wilson officially running for Senator?
