It's always quite fascinating to learn of the utter hypocrisy, avarice and greed of those whose purported philosophy of accumulated wealth of others is one they consider an anathema, considered an act of immorality to have been amassed by the exploitation of the masses, money made on the backs of poor peasants, who receive little in return while such landowners in Venezuela live like kings off the sweat, hard work of the poor locals.

Chavez was a champion of the poor by expropriating land from rich people that had been in the family for decades, centuries, acquired legitimately yet was forcibly taken away because Chavez's considered it morally repugnant or so he claimed.

Well, now that the news that Chavez was worth $1 Billion changes everything about Chavez as crusader for the poor in his antipathy towards those he considered exploiters, crooks, opportunists otherwise known as rich people. Chavez had no problem usurping other people's money but as far as his stash was concerned that was considered sacrosanct.

Every year, Forbes Magazine reports the net worth of the failed baseball player, the quintessential robber baron, Mr. Cohiba himself, to have a net worth in excess of $600 million which of course enrages the Communist Castro and his cash cache to no end in a yearly histrionic denial of having any such thing. But if Chavez net worth teaches us anything it is that Forbes is much closr to the truth than Castro could ever be.

What was he worth 15 years ago? Certainly the socialist who made his mark in South America by hating the US, didn’t ‘make’ money from politics, right?

Yes he did as a matter of fact. Right before passing away he had all his assets converted to travelers’ checks to make it easier as he traveled down into the center of the Earth.

Nothing but the usual hypocrisy from socialists. If he really ascribed to socialism, his net worth at death would have been zero.

I bet Castro could buy and sell Chavez several times over, well now that he is dead, all left is the body. Probably would not pay much for it.

Mugabe, Zimbabwe’s King for life probably has many Billions tho if they are in Zimbabwean currency it would by about 50 cents.
Of course he know better than that and has most of it in gold.

The Whites of zimbabwe agreed to having a Methodist Bishop take over as he had a reputation for honesty. Jimmy Carter would not put up with that and insisted they have a Communist/Terrorist be the man.

Jimmy the total ahole who single handedly brought down our ally in Iran and truned it over to the the shia terrorists who rule it now.

If you want to pay your respects to the “Fearless Leader” (Hugo not Zero), you may want to get in line now .... no, that’s not the potty line, it’s the “pay your proper respects” line. Please be unzipped and ready to urinate when you arrive at the front of the line and approach the grave.

You would think he could have afforded some real doctors and a real hospital.

But I guess the socialist agenda is more important than his life. Good call, I say.

There’s a full-blown ticker tape going on in Hell, I hear from some old friends.

There’s some poetic justice here: Had Chavez come to America for treatment instead of going to KoooBAH, he might be alive.

Damn: Chavez used his position in Government to make almost as much money as Nancy Pelosi has made using her position in Government.
