You lost you jerk because you ran as everything except a conservative.
Office of First President & Living Prophet®: November 8, 2012
Fellow MORMON Freeper Christians!!
I must apologize and ask for forgiveness from you all.
As you know, we at Headquarters NEVER tell you pew warmers how to vote. It says so right in our press releases. Anyway, we were ALL thrilled to the max when there were two TWO! MORMONs being touted in the primaries: Mitt Romney and Jon Huntsman.
Talk in our upper chambers high above SLC was how our gods were favoring us with these men; who had prepared their entire lives for an opportunity to save this Nation; which so badly needs guidance: OUR guidance even! So naturally, I and the other twelve analyzed and discussed the situation.
Consensus was that the voters should listen to the inner urging and vote for the one they wanted; but that seemed to be leaving WAY too much to chance.
I decided, that since I am the ONLY man on earth that can hear GODs voice, that I would pray for wisdom and clarity in the matter.
I hadnt used the fleece in a while, so I questioned GOD with a test. A paper, with Romney on one side and Huntsman on the other was to be placed by the air conditioning vent high above my desk in the sumptuous office the Full Tithers have provided.
When the air would kick in later in the evening, while I was home, the paper would be blown down and whomever GOD wanted would then be visible on the upper surface.
As you can probably guess, when I came in the next day, the paper had landed on my desk, with Mitts name on top.
Last night, I was staying late, praying to GOD about how it was even possible that Mitt lost, when the janitorial cleaning crew came in. Being surprised to find me here, they apologized for interrupting me. I said to them, It mattereth not, as I was about to leave anyway.
As I was going out the door, the foreman of the crew just happened to mention that my office is ALWAYS so neat and tiny, never anything out of place, that they barely have to do anything to tidy up. Then one of the sweepers said, Except that time in the spring when we came in to clean and found a paper with Huntmans name on the floor by your desk. We put it back on your desk and left.
Tommy M.
PS Keep praying that Huntsman will add an H to his name. Jon looks so dang effeminate!
Onward to 2016!!!

“Whats stupid about 47% will never vote for him? “
I agree with you. If it wasn’t that quote it would be something else that the media would pound him mercilessly on. Dog on the roof, magic underwear, whatever.
All the media and the Left do is Demonize and Destroy. It is the only way they can win.
Is the 47% comment worse than “Vote for Revenge!” ?
Is it worse than the daily and myriad stupid things said by Barky and Biden?
Of course not, but that gets no attention, because B&B know that the LIV isn’t listening and only voting for his gov’t handout.

We saw what he could do to opponents when he trashed all the competition in the primaries. Someone reined him in hard after the 1st debate. That does not shock me.
What DOES shock me is that so many people either ignored that very important occurrence or made excuses for it. Time has brought me more understanding of the people who voted Romney out of fear. But today with 20 20 hindsight, there is no excuse for people to continue defending him.
Because that sends ANOTHER crystal Clear signal to the GOP that no matter what they do to us, we will STILL kiss their Arses and give them undying cover and support.

The election of 2010, and congressional elections are different from taking on an 800 pound gorilla for the presidential primary. Romney came out in 2005/6, letting any serious challengers for the nomination in 2008 know that he had all his personal wealth, and was already locking up all the big money, and that he had a massive army of foot soldiers aka Mormons.
With all that, Romney didn't face any serious competition in 2008, yet he lost to Huckabee and McCain, neither of who had any money or organization, for 2012, Romney had all the same, plus the next in line thing going for him, again no serious challenger ran against him.

And Obama is SOOOO much better than Romney would have been.
Sounds like that’s what you’re saying.
To: Elsie
An authentically deceived believer in a heretical religion.Yes, there was that, too.
However, I'm still not sure that Romney believes any of that "religion" or anything else, really, other than what he perceives to be his own personal advancement.
He probably seems to some to be a nice man, though, other than all of that. ;-)

It’s not just the fault of the establishment GOP, Rove or Mitt the Twit, it is also the fault of anybody out there who sat out the election and did not vote for whatever stupid reason. He would not have been a clone of der Fuehrer; no Reagan, but not a steaming pile of obama.
Thanks to all of you “concience” and “never a mormon” non-voters out there; this is your fault too. Nitwits.

The GOP that won national elections in the past will not win again in the future. The Reagan coalition is not enough anymore. The numbers are just not there. That's why it is time to take alternative routes. What would happen if the voters in Red States decide not to participate in the President election?
The Union is broken right now. The Takers outnumber the Producers. Hence Romney's 47% comment.
To: Norm Lenhart
No Mr. Romney, you lost because you alienated the Republican base and proved via your history that you were no severe conservative. And, OH! What a brilliant move the "base" made to intentionally elect Obama.
Sickening........
To: RJS1950
LOL, yeah, it wasn’t the candidate’s fault, it was the voters.
I think I saw you on Kitchen Nightmares, where you were explaining to Chef Ramsey that it wasn’t your bad cooking destroying you, but your ignorant customers who couldn’t appreciate your superb cooking and refused to return.

Please explain how voting for what you believe in, the very things conservatisn stands for, is the wrong course of action. And spare me the ‘Obama is the anitchrist’ rationalizations. We know he is. Voting for lesser evils still gets you evil.
Voting for what you believe in is what the founders fought and died for...keep that in mind. Please tell us how their lives being in the balance doesn’t matter whereas your checkbook account does.
To: Norm Lenhart
Wasnt it conservatives who led that top to bottom butt kicking of the Democrats in 2010 when Republicans won back the House and were winning state and local elections? The Blacks didnt vote in '10 because Obama wasn't up for reelection so the demographics of the voters were similiar to Kentucky nationwide.
To: x
And if Gingrich was the nominee wouldn't people be saying right now that he lost because he wasn't a true conservative?
Oh, I have little doubt that the drubbing that Gingrich or Santorum would have gotten would be blamed entirely on Karl Rove.
To: Gerish
The press would have looked like fools trying to defend all his failures. They would have had no defend. They only only thing they could have done was to avoid the subjects. This is why I believe that Romney serves the same elite as Obama.

That BS ‘rebuttal’ has already been tried. It failed as usual.

And, OH! What a brilliant move the "base" made to intentionally elect Obama. You don't own people, a good pro-life Christian person can run into a candidate that he just can't vote for and that happened for some with pro-abortion, pro-homosexual agenda, Bishop Romney, your belief that every individual must vote for your party, no matter how satanic your agenda becomes, is just more evidence of what went wrong with your party, when it turned against conservatism and Christ in 2012.

So "the base" decided that it wanted a President who'd be wrong *all* of the time instead of,perhaps,20% (or maybe even 50%)of the time.Brilliant move,"base". You said it much better than I.
What a bunch of losers. Now 100% of us lose and must suffer 100% of the time. Thanks, Base.
To: lowbridge
Mitt Romney says it "kills" him that he's not president. But he doesn't blame Superstorm Sandy, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie or anything else on his loss to President Barack Obama--except his campaign's failure to connect with minority voters. Four months after the election and Romney still doesn't get it. Moving to the left was never going to win an election.
And these days, it never will. Romney's candidacy split the base right down the middle. His refusal to see this is just one more example of a fatal flaw in the man's vision.

One of the Zotted tried saying repeatedly that we had to moderate our abortion stance to get more votes for the GOP.
In other words, that literally means “trade the lives of babies to win elections’.
If that ain’t satanic, and many people on the GOP Right agree with the sentiment, than NOTHING is satanic.
So this guy does not shock me at all.
