I’m thinking it has to be that one school superintendent. Otherwise, we would have heard from other school districts by now, I should think!

Maybe we should get together and Freep that school-—LOL!

They are NOT fighting for freedom.

Freedom is anathema to their way of thinking.

What they want is SUBMISSION. Islam means submission. Those that claim it means peace mean peace in the same way the Communists meant peace - peace means lack of opposition.

Jeanine McGregor, of the Tea Party, is going around Texas to give community meetings on what CSCOPE is realy all about. She says 70% of Texas school districts have bought into the CSCOPE program. Yes. 70%. In Texas. Unfreakin’ believable.

So calling someone a terrorist or freedom fighter depends on whose side you are on. That’s not news. From the german and japanese perspective they were in the right. That’s not the issue. The issue is that as an AMERICAN we should have a different perspective and NOT GIVE A S**T about our enemies perspective. A man that blows up little kids is evil. PERIOD. It doesnt matter how he rationalizes it. Tesching people to see the other guys perspective can be useful but only to a certain extent. There are some things that we must say are unacceptable by any standard and that those committing those acts must be stopped.

Well, if we have to look at other perspectives, let’s not call the Holocaust “ethnic cleansing,” let’s call it “Semitic removal.” Yeah, that’s a good, non-offensive term. And we’ll call Stalin’s enforced famine on the Ukrainians “food conservation” so as not to be judgmental. Mao’s slaughter of millions of Chinese landowners...hmmm... we’ll call that...”wealth redistribution.” (/s)

“Who is the real culprit? If this is part of the required ‘lesson plan’ then that comes from the State Board of Education I believe.”

Actually Texas is leading the way in implementing the new Education program called C-Scope. I don’t know much about it, but it seems very controversial. The little I know about it is generally from whistleblowers that have to keep their identies a secret. The Board of Ed is actually hiding it from parents!

Reading the article it sounds like the teacher didn't like the lesson but it was part of the AP curriculum for the end of the year AP test.

Wonder what the College Board has to say about this?

“East Texas is the last place you’d expect this to go on.”

Nope. Wrongo.

First thing the nuns taught us: good and safe is where the enemy will attack. Example: the Church. Look at what happened there.

OK, now take that concept to a good state. Texas is so under attack right now, contrary to the impression that it is a safe red stronghold.

No, it will be a great acquisition to the opposition, so of course they are going after it. Who’s defending Texas? Not anyone under the illusion that it is safe just because it used to be.

Texas is as threatened as is or was Woodward.

Sounds to me like the teacher isn’t the problem. The problem’s the superintendant and whatever bureaucracy is in place that would force her to teach that treason to American studnets. Forcing American students to refer to islamic terrorists as Freedom Fighters is obscene. That should be punished by the people of that community.

“”””The only chance we’ve got is to outbreed the commies””””

Impossible. Normal, conservative minded people wait until after marriage to have children. They plan for a family.

Your average Obama voter has 5 kids by age twenty two, all with different fathers all living in gummit housing and food stamps.
They actually get more money by plopping out more welfare babies. Its an encouragment to have bigger welfare checks. Then by the time the kids are 15, they start breeding. They have fallen full circle and begin the cradle-to-grave welfare cycle all over again.
You can’t compete with that.

My wife and I have 11 kids.

We been married more than 30 years.

We know lots of folks who have 5 or more children.

The problem is parents who send their kids to the government schools, where they are brainwashed into Democrats.

None of this is in the state curriculum the Texas Essential Knowldge and Skills (TEKS) so when the teacher says “it’s in the curriculum” the logical question is WHAT curriculum?
If she’s teaching in Texas she has to follow TEKS or she’s breaking the law.
