I have my issues with him just like you do, but cmon. Mitt Romney and Jeb Bush are conservative enough to speak at CPAC but not Christie? Hes the current vice chair of the RGA and will be chairman next year for the midterms. Hes headed for a landslide reelection victory in a deep blue state, where his approval rating is currently the highest for a New Jersey governor in the 17 years since Quinnipiac started tracking that. Hes one of the few members of the party with a national profile whos reasonably well liked by voters across the board. Leverage his popularity, if only for a day.
I understand wanting to punish him for slobbering all over Obama after Sandy, but how do you find a spot for Chris Hayes and not for this guy? For cripes sake, Joe Scarboroughs spoken at CPAC. David Frum could probably get on a panel if he really tried. Their definition of conservative isnt strict.
At least eight potential presidential contenders will be speaking at CPAC: Gov. Bobby Jindal of Louisiana, Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida, Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky, Rep. Paul Ryan of Wisconsin, former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, Gov. Scott Walker of Wisconsin, former Texas Gov. Rick Perry, and Sen. Rick Santorum of Pennsylvania.

He can go suck eggs
Christie can go play golf with Zero for all I care....
He is damaged goods because he has damaged himself.
He is untrustworthy.
What is conservative about them?
Christie might as well change his party affiliation. He kissed Obama’s butt. That I cannot forgive. He is just another RINO from the North East.
To make up for it, they invited Bob McDonnell.
"Ya know, if you ever get tired of shelly, I am the same size as her..."
Don't be ridiculous. Eggs aren't fattening.
Christie will go suck crullers and, for mid-morning snack, toasted and buttered bialys slathered thick with cream cheese.
He can provide the shade.
Well said.
Christie the craven politician will sleep (and eat) with anyone to get ahead. The Sandy love-fest with Obama translated into to high Christie poll numbers in NJ and a second term for 0bomba. Sell the country down the river in order to advance your career... thanks a trillion, Arbuckle.
Sounds to me like CPAC has gone liberal.
No respect for Christie as far as I’m concerned.

Interesting.....
Romney and Christie, this is funny stuff.
Like who gives a rats ass!
That's a news flash!
Intentionally or not, consiously or not, Christie actively helped Obama get reelected.
That separates him from the run of the mill RINOs mentioned as a comparison.
