The list of companies that have stopped selling firearms and ammunition to law enforcement agencies in states that are restricting the Second Amendment has more than doubled since Wednesday and is more than five times larger than just one week ago. There are 44 companies on our list, with more being added as we receive notification. Here are the additions since Wednesday: Barrett Firearms Exile Machine Tier One Arms Bravo Company USA Primary Weapons Systems Crusader Weaponry Top Gun Supply Kiss Tactical Clark Fork Tactical OFA Tactical One Source Tactical Templar Tactical Arms NEMO Arms Old Grouchs Military Surplus Big Horn Armory Midway USA CMMG Inc Rocky Top Tactical Badger Peak Controlled Chaos Arms SRT Arms Norton Firearms Citizen Arms Evolution Weaponry Doublestar Corp JCW Industries Huntertown Arms
Heres a sample of statements from some of the recent additions to the list as well as the positions of the companies that have reached out to TheBlaze directly to declare their policy shift:
Steve Adelmann of Citizen Arms shared the following from his companys statement, made the day after New York changed its laws:
Due to legal, ethical and moral concerns, Citizen Arms offers only those custom firearms that are legal for all lawful citizens of a given state to possess, regardless of law enforcement status. LE personnel living in states where citizens must have restrictive features will only receive like product support from Citizen Arms. Were very appreciative of the sacrifices made by the law enforcement community but were even more appreciative of the right guaranteed to all law-abiding US citizens by the Second Amendment to the US Constitution: A well regulated militia, necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.

Cutting off LE sales to these enclaves of tyranny won’t affect the bottom line much. LE sales constitute 0.009 percent of a $32 billion industry. We need the big boys, both manufacturers and ammo and aftermarket suppliers to stand up. As Ben Franklin said: “If we do not hang together, we will most assuredly hang separately.”
I'd go even farther if it were me. If I found the laws of a given jurisdiction unreasonable, I wouldn't even sell the government the SAME stuff legal to sell the citizens. Course they'd just get around it by faking orders from individuals so you wouldn't know, but it would have symbolic value at least, plus the satisfaction gained from making them impersonate one of their bosses, a regular citizen.
Although I appreciate the moral support of these 44 companies, I suspect that their financial sacrifice is nil because they do little if any business in states like New York in the first place. The unofficial boycott will have no effect whatsoever unless and until the biggies like Glock, Sig, and S & W get on board, and that's not going to happen unless the average Joe in the private sector boycotts these companies. We need to put our money where are mouths are and stop buying from any company that sells to LEO in gun grabbing states.
I wish the ammo producers would join the fray. Before the 2 billion hollow points are shipped.
Since the States are passing the laws and the individual LEO's live in the restrictive states I suspect that will not work either.
Arizonas Kiss Tacticals Facebook page also carries a story about denying a California police officers request to purchase an AR-15.
On Saturday I refused to sell a AR-15 rifle to a police officer from California. He came into my shop and wanted to buy his duty gun in AZ because the same gun in his home state would cost him more. I told him that I would not sell him the gun even though he had his department letter saying he was able to buy it. I told him that if the gun was not legal for law abiding men and women in CA, I would not sell it to him. after he told me that civilians dont need them type of guns I asked to leave my shop. as he stomped out mad.
Looks like it is a real pizzer to be excluded from one's own double standard, huh?
Of course, the individual LEO's could resort to... THE GUN SHOW LOOPHOLE!
It is already being resorted to by the LEO's and should actually make them think twice about those anti-private sale laws and that universal registration BS.
Unintended Consequences...
.
This is all great news, but I do not believe that Obama and the libs will ever give up.
They intend to crush us and they will not stop.
Regrettably, a full out revolution may be necessary to save what’s left of our country.
The Caliph will issue an executive decree mandating firearms/ammo manufacturers sell to the .gov.
Okay, I need an “Old Grouch’s Military Surplus” store near me so I can shower them with business. That name rocks.
That’s exactly what I was thinking CC.
There’s is still something amiss. The demand seems to be high, there’s money to be made. And yet the shelves are pretty bare at local gun shops and on line dealers don’t have jack in stock.

Long term, China has yet to manufacture a single item that is high quality and reliable. None.
Buyer beware.
If we could get some of the big boys like Sig, Colt, S&W, Ruger, and Glock to sign on, we could REALLY put some pressure on them.
If LE starts using China made guns, I may take up bank robbing using American or German made firearms lol.
I will purchase my next fire arm from the first one that does...
Agreed. BUT, like the liberals, let the gun companies "make a statement". If the big guys join in (they need to hear from us) it can do nothing but cause embarrassment and perhaps shift the debate away from more laws. It's "woith a shot".
At the east it will show that we are no longer assuming the fetal position in these Jihads against gun ownership.
IT is high and production is slowly beginning to meet the demand. AR15 lower receivers were available but WAY overpriced at $450 each. They were $115 before Christmas.
Wha bout China ratest, the Grock, make fo porice?
