A growing number of firearm and firearm-related companies have stated they will no longer sell items to states, counties, cities and municipalities that restrict their citizens' rights to own them.
According to The Police Loophole, 34 companies have joined in publicly stating that governments who seek to restrict 2nd Amendment rights will themselves be restricted from purchasing the items they seek to limit or ban.
Extreme Firepower Inc., located in Inwood, WV has had a longstanding policy that states:
"The Federal Government and several states have enacted gun control laws that restrict the public from owning and possessing certain types of firearms...If a product that we manufacture is not legal for a private citizen to own in a jurisdiction, we will not sell that product to a law-enforcement agency in that jurisdiction."
York Arms, located in Buxton, ME released a statement following new legislation in New York:
"Based on the recent legislation in New York, we are prohibited from selling rifles and receivers to residents of New York. We have chosen to extend that prohibition to all governmental agencies associated with or located within New York."

Get back to me when Glock, S&W, Colt and Beretta have joined in.
I would like to see ammo makers, starting with Remington, refuse to sell the government any more ammo.
How’s that hope and change workin’ out for y’all?
It’s movement in the right direction if nothing else. It would be nice to see the major manufacturers join in though.
Powerful message.
Have Any More Gun Makers Stopped Selling To Anti-Gun States? (Hint: Yeah, Lots More)
Where there is a profit to be made some one will rise to the occasion and take advantage of the opportunity.

(EXCERPT)
While the President and the rabid left continue to pursue a ban on semi-automatic firearms, manufacturers are fighting back by refusing to sell to government agencies that support the Presidents plan.
Chicago Mayor Rahm Emannuel tried to pressure Bank of America to stop doing business with firearms companies. Viewed as perfectly acceptable behavior by a large portion of America, firearms manufacturers copied the tactic and returned the favor.
Larue Tactical, Olympic Arms, Templar Custom, Extreme Firepower, Barrett Arms and now RAM Arms have vocalized that they will not sell their products to government agencies that support the Presidents position on gun rights.
YES!YES!YES!YES!YES!
I am thinking this is going to have to take public pressure on the bigger companies to do the same thing or we will not purchase from them anymore. You are right about the profit being the driving force here for them.
5.56mm
That is exactly the spirit of the Second Amendment. Ammo manufacturers could do the same and probably increase their profits, since the police often get a bulk discount, and the manufacturers will well all they want for the next couple years even without police sales.
I’m seeing a downside here. What’s to stop the State or Obastard from issuing an Executive Order forcing the sale to the gubmint - or denying them tax permits - or lookie there! an IRS audit? - or a million other “persuasive” chicago thug style tactics.
Another downside.
What’s to stop Obastid, Holder and the other crooks in the White Hut from doing a REVERSE Fast and Furious?
Just buy back the guns they sold to Mexico.
And as for ammo? Hell, the DHS already has stockpiled 200 million rounds of ammo already.
(Gee I wonder what they will do with all that firepower?)
Given the sales levels and increased prices...the fire arm manufacturer’s should all move out of the RAT states for right to work states..”refuge states” where freedom still lives.
Like ignoramous Biden would say...”Gird your loins!” Yes. You can bet that those who stand and fight this evil sleaze will have total thug tactics coming their way.
Roger that.
Re-think their priorities, send everything to Walmarts, Academy, gun stores, etc. first and if there's anything left over, send that to DHS.
Or not.
Well maybe they can come up with a new 7 round box. And sell them one at a time.
