Nice idea but I have not heard of any city or state having trouble buying firearms.
Where there is a profit to be made some one will rise to the occasion and take advantage of the opportunity.

I am thinking this is going to have to take public pressure on the bigger companies to do the same thing or we will not purchase from them anymore. You are right about the profit being the driving force here for them.

Where there is a profit to be made some one will rise to the occasion and take advantage of the opportunity. Citizens are standing in line to buy guns and ammo, no store I go into has either. AT least nothing other than bolt action single shot stuff, and no ammo of any kind, except bird shot 12 gauge shotgun.
