Why wait for the supply to dry up over time when you could just force gun owners to surrender or destroy their weapons immediately? Missouri Democrats think its a good idea:
Democrats in the state House have proposed a bill that would force gun owners to either surrender or destroy weapons including semi-automatic rifles with detachable magazines and semi-automatic pistols with a fixed magazine that can shoot more than 10 rounds before being reloaded.
Ammunition-feeding devices that can hold more than 10 rounds also would be banned. Owners also could send their weapons to another state instead of surrendering or destroying them and would have 90 days after the bills passage to make a decision.
While its highly unlikely the bill will pass in the Republican-controlled House, it is another example of Democrats extreme anti-gun agenda, which is being played out not just at the federal level but in state legislatures across the nation as well.
Forcing gun owners to surrender or destroy such weapons is tantamount to confiscationso in this sense, these Dems have learned a thing or two from the Justice Departments internal memos:

It’s a strange irony that even on uber-liberal sites like DU there is a strong contingent of pro-gun Leftards. You’d think that the ultimate goals of liberalism would cause a light to go on in their heads and abandon this openly evil, freedom-quashing ideology, but they remain nevertheless.
I know my FReeper friends in MO knows enough to say...
...MOLON LABE!
cant say as much for a majority of my fellow New Yorkers...
There is apparently a 2nd amendment supporter who is chairman of the committee these bills are submitted too. He’s promised to kill every one of these.
I saw it on Facebook but can’t seem to find it again.
I will be a son of a bitch before I surrender[ and dead]. As JRandom Freeper so eloquently phrased it,”I can be killed, but I can’t be enslaved.”
Why kill it?
If you know it will be defeated, bring it to the floor and make the Dems vote on it, in the open, so that everyone knows how they voted.
I guess the idiots never considered that even if this passed people would sell the weapons or store them out of state........
The Republicans should do the opposite. They should pass a law requiring all able bodied citizens to own at least one semi-auto pistol with multiple magazines and 100 rounds, and at least one semi-auto rifle with high capacity magazines and 1000 rounds. No enforcement mechanism though, and no penalties for non-compliance. Perhaps they could throw in a tax credit good up to 5000 dollars on a dollar for dollar break for citizens who arm up.
The common thread here is that democrats are gun grabbers.
This may be a good thing, because now at least people can now see for themselves what the Dems have denied for decades......
“Guns for me, but not for thee...”
The idea is to get weapons out of the hands of the Resistors, not the Collaborators.
In short, if this passes and you ever have to use your weapons to defend yourself, you become an instant felon.
In this light, you can see where any/all infringements on our 2A rights will lead.
The interesting thing about this story, and others like it from CA, NY, WA, IL, is how into the open these traitors feel they can come.
Anybody who predicted six months ago that this was what they would do if they could was called paranoid.
But, as they say, even paranoids have real enemies.

The uncomfortable secret is that there are millions of gun-loving Dems. Here in Wisconsin, hundreds of thousands of loyal Dems are hunters and uh gun-nuts. Same throughout the midwest. They don't like the idea of anyone taking their guns as much as conservative Republicans. In fact hoity-toity, snooty east coast Pubbies probably hate guns more than blue-collar Democrats.
You never understand how idiotic Democrats can be, until something sets them off. It’s like a party horn at a loony bin.
