I am curious how they knew the Russian Aircraft were carrying nuclear tipped missiles.

I understand cruise missiles being visible, but how does one know that they have nuclear warheads?

"Aircrafts"? AIRCRAFTS???

Damn, journalists are getting lazier and lazier.

I’ll bet you a dollar to a donut that the Obama Administration told the Guan AF to “stand down.”

Just like Benghazi.

I bet the F-15s weren’t even armed.

This is nothing new. Russia like to approach our airspace every now and then to get a reaction. As for nukes, when I was in Intel I used to call this "Ouija board." reporting...as opposed to saying they pulled it out of their a..

That’s what Bears are primarily for: carrying nukes. Whole lot of traffic of all kinds going on in that area, most likely, and things are getting tight. China wants more real estate with more east Asian people (”One China policy” extended) and more routes. Russia wants to help (see SCO members) and to take back some real estate just south of it. There are Iran and N. Korea: lapdogs of the aforementioned, which countries may be close to mounting nukes.

That’s what we should be concerned about—not all of the other broadcasts of hysteria going on. Oh...and our Navy and Air Force going on strike because of budget cuts? Ha! Yeah, right! We’re closer to high-intensity and nuclear war than ever before. That’s my guess.

That bastard in the White House has turned us into an international laughing stock.

He SHOULD be impeached.

Ruskies new hussein was playing golf and wouldn’t be interrupted. They could get away with anything now that he has more flexibility in deniability.

The Air Force confirms that two Russian bombers on Tuesday circled the U.S. island territory of Guam

Oh, but those Russkies are in for a surprise. Don't they know we allow gays in the military now?

They'd better stand down if they know what's good for them.

I think the article is wrong. The original and more detailed article in the Washington Free Beacon states only that “Defense officials said the bombers tracked over Guam were likely equipped with six Kh-55 or Kh-55SM cruise missiles that can hit targets up to 1,800 miles away with either a high-explosive warhead or a 200-kiloton nuclear warhead.” This describes the capability of the usual cuise missile complement but does not claim that nuclear weapons were carried.
