Sources in both parties tell me compromise in the works to delay vote on Hagel, but make it a 51 vote threshold not 60. Deal not done yet— Dana Bash (@DanaBashCNN) February 14, 2013

“Compromise” = “Republicans Cave”
Google says: Republic Ace
89-10.
Com-pro-mise
verb
1. To cave in
2. Loss of principle
3. Roll over
no balls .... Mitch...Senatorial Steer
Of course the Republicans will compromise . . . at the end of the day isn’t capitulation their real goal, and all the debate in the meantime is just a bone to the conservative voters who put them into office? We live under the illusion of a two-party system with this kabuki theater in Washington but at the end of the day the Dem and Repub parties are just one establishment party controlled by the ruling class.
And get nothing in return. That is to say, WE get nothing. They get to keep their jobs.
Poli-tics....
Def: Poli = Many; Tics = blood suckers.
You just got to laugh at the innovative ways the Rinos come up with to cave, LOL.
You know they're going to take the fall, but you never know if it'll be face first or falling on their a$$es.
So after every freaking rule is broken “via compromise” and no laws are enforced so long as the crime is worth over $1 billion, what the heck is left?
Oh yeah. Our country; headed there at head-turning speed.
Thanks Mitch!
Shouldn’t that be “Thanks, Venal Mitch”?

One FReeper accused me of a “baseless slander” of the Republican Senate after I wondered which one(s) would turn at the offer of a juicy committee assignment or pork project.
“None will turn,” I was told...
I’ve been saying for years now, and I mean years, and years, and years we have to pull the chain, and flush the Congressional bowl. Keep pulling that chain until every bit of the self serving crap is cleared from the bowl, and start over with actual representation of the people.
Since the first time I ever wrote that online back at Lucianne.com many moons ago (I’d been saying it since Carter days) the TEA Party happened along, and now we have something, and someone in Sarah Palin, and some others for the hoped for leadership to get behind to push for what we want.
It still looks bleak, but we at least seem to have a direction to persue.
