Olympia, WA --(Ammoland.com)- Olympic Arms is a staunch believer in and defender of the Constitution of the United States, and with special attention paid to the Bill of Rights that succinctly enumerates the security of our Divinely given Rights.
One of those Rights is that to Keep and Bear Arms.
Legislation recently passed in the State of New York outlaws the AR15 and many other firearms, and will make it illegal for the good and free citizens of New York to own a large selection of legal and safe firearms and magazines.
We feel as though the passage of this legislation exceeds the authority granted to the government of New York by its citizens, and violates the Constitution of the United States, ignoring such SCOTUS rulings as District of Columbia v. Heller 554, U.S. 570 of 2008, McDonald v. Chicago 561 U.S. 3025 of 2010, and specifically the case of United States v. Miller 307 U.S. 174 of 1939.
Due the passing of this legislation, Olympic Arms would like to announce that the State of New York, any Law Enforcement Departments, Law Enforcement Officers, First Responders within the State of New York, or any New York State government entity or employee of such an entity will no longer be served as customers.

“If Mao Tsedong ever said that I think he was merely quoting Sun Tzu.”
You could be right, TigersEye. I never considered that ChiComm butcher Mao was a towering intellect nor a warrior.
My own view, which has nothing to do with anything, is that I could have taken that fat-ass pig Mao in a one-on-one sword fight and cut his commie head off.
I always enjoy talking with you, TigersEye. Semper fi, buddy.
Means more for us!!
No, I don’t think Mao was too bright either. Smart enough to paraphrase some historical greats is about it I think. Just a bamboozling thug IMO. Thanks for the compliment and the Semper Fi, sd. If there is one thing in life I should have done and didn’t it’s join the Marine Corps.
Now there’s a company with balls of steel.
We need more businesses to start doing this. What’s the old saying...feed a cold, starve a liberal?
If all the firearm manufacturers would do this it would have a major impact.
What say you, foghorn?
This is great and I applaud Olympic for taking the moral high road, but I really doubt that Olympic is losing all that much in sales in New York. Even if Olympic is a big player, the obvious concern is that am unethical supplier will fill the void.
This is where we come in: We need to send a clear and unequivical message to the firearms and ammo industry that if you do business with the State of New York (or its muncipalities or political subdivisions),then we will not do business with you. And equally important, if we live in a gun-friendly red-state or municipality, then we need to convince our elected representatives to refuse to do any business with firearm/ammo manufacturers and distributers who do business with New York.
“If there is one thing in life I should have done and didnt its join the Marine Corps.”
Your best years are ahead of you, and you will do fine, defending your family and community. I have no doubt of that. Judging by what I’ve read from your posts, you’re in the right place at the right time.
Best wishes to you and yours.
then the game is on a level playing field...
Thank you, FRiend, that means a lot. The same to you and yours! Be well, be safe and enjoy all the good that comes your way.
How long till Washington State adopts a law identical to NY’s ?
The government starts to manufacture its own ammo. Drive the current manufacturers out of business altogether.
Basically, nationalize them.
exactly! And that’s on the mind of every gun grabber out there.
Exactly! DC is the root cause of this Gun-Grabbers.
The intent is already there. This movement(Gun-Grabbing) was started there, Ever heard of Waco?
As much as I would love to believe that... The organized firepower would be overwhelming. Listen up Google... These bloodthirsty tyrants want us to fire the first shot. Every American with a cell phone is an easy target. Finally, every gun owner, well just the clingers would be annihilated.
I have no idea. Not sure why you thought I would have any special insight on that. I’m in Illinois. The “Chicamrades” north of I-80 and Quinn would love to take us down that road, but central and south is pulling the other way. That’s kind of how I understand WA, Seattle a lib nirvana, but the eastern half of the state a lot more conservative. Based on your inquiry, I did notice there are groups at work there to push the gun grabbing, like Washington Cease Fire, for example. Their legislative objectives are as follows:
“Washington CeaseFire believes there are several laws that should be passed to reduce gun violence in Washington State. Those states that have the most restrictive gun legislation have just one-sixth the level of gun violence versus those states with the least restrictive laws, according to the book, Private Gun, Public Health, by Dr. David Hemenway of the Harvard School of Public Health. Other states have: closed the gun-show loophole; banned the sale of military-style assault weapons; limited handgun sales to one per month; carefully regulated concealed weapon permits, and banned open carrying of guns. None of those policies apply in Washington state, which ranks among the most loosely regulated states in terms of guns. Washington CeaseFire believe those policies should be adopted to save lives in Washington state.”

On their home page they are touting an interfaith prayer vigil, no doubt designed to pull the typical low information parishioner into the emotional vortex they are manufacturing. They are using sentimentalism and transferred guilt to sweet talk the gullible into trusting a government that loathes them. They are being Svengalied into a suicide pact. It is so ironically evil.
What a difference it makes that we lost a generation or two by simply failing to pass on the old knowledge that might have strengthened us, as a nation, against this deceit. I recall the parable my dad used to tell about the fox and the gingerbread man. It’s the kind of thing that prepares you for subtle, incremental attacks against your interests and well-being. It teaches that self-reliance and a healthy respect for the appetites of others can be all the difference between life and death. A nice retelling of it is here:

A parable for our time...yet so few today seem able to handle any truth that has a hard edge to it.
Communist countries either don't allow or heavily restrict Free Trade. They carry out protectionism and they try to choose winners & losers in the marketplace.
Free Trade is the economic version of Freedom of Association. Why are you against that?
