Returning to the original scheduled program (the subject/article of this thread) it's painful to learn of what happened in this Arias case. How Travis as she related, had a Bill Clinton-like attitude towards sex (and what things that led to, blech) and how her own participation made her feel used, feel like a prostitute. That would undoubtedly be a horrible emotion, given the background of her relationship with Travis (he baptized her into Mormonism didn't he?) how Mormonism had originally been a part of their relationship, how things turned for the worse (and she found out Travis had been using other young fillies much the same way) and for whatever reasons led to her killing the guy. She snapped, right? Flipped out, lost it, went berzerker. She didn't exhibit previous habit pattern of loss of temper, etc?
If she had only stopped at some point, like after she had stabbed him enough times to enable her to get away, or have called guys like you(?) after killing him for her own safety. (Then again, why should anyone trust LE nowadays?
