Frigging OUTRAGEOUS.
In TEXAS!!! Who would’a thunk it.
This in Texas!? California maybe, but Texas!? Never. These are truly signs of the apocalypse. Repent!! Repent!! The end is near!!!!
At least we’re pissed off about it. Up in Massachusetts, the teachers would be thrilled.
.
let me get this right.
there is a group which sets out standards but only those who sign up can see them and then they have to sign a gag order and cannot show anyoneelse even the head of education in TX.
Who are these idiots because I;ve just done a search and read some of their disclaimer and it gives nothing of substance on who they really are and why have they not been closed down ?
.
CSCOPE is a comprehensive online curriculum management system developed and owned by the Texas Education Service Center Curriculum Collaborative (TESCCC), a consortium composed of the 20 ESCs in the state.
The curriculum and instructional components of CSCOPE are based on best practice models from top researchers in the field of education, including: Robert Marzano, Fenwick English, John Crain, Heidi Hayes Jacobs, Grant Wiggins, Jay McTighe, H. Lynn Erickson, and James Barufaldi.
I would suggest Texans find out what they can about the above-mentioned commies.
Okay, not the least surprised, but the question is... what are we going to do about it?

Surprised?
Homeschool. Need I say more...
My question is this...what are you Texans going to do about this?
At four and a bit, my boy knows enough about communism and drawing to draw a flag with bones or bodies lying down on it.
I am proud of homeschoolers, but I consider it a challenge and an honor to take personal responsibility for guiding my kids in their world-view. I am not so sure my kids will be “indoctrinated,” and in any case, I find that most young people are very leftist... In my case it made me a better “conservative” later.
Maybe I’ll change my mind one day, but I am not afraid of (private) schools.
My Dad, who has passed on, used to smile when I went on about leftist ideas as a teenager. He said:
“Son, if you aren’t a Democrat when you’re young, you don’t have a heart. And if you aren’t a Republican when you get a little older, you don’t have a brain.”
He let me think on that. Man, he was a great Dad.
It's already starting. Dan Patrick needs some cred after his weak-azz'd endorsement of RiNO Lt.Gov. Dewhurst in the primary against Ted Cruz (Go TED!), so he's getting active as the quotes above show.
Hopefully, he'll go all gonzo pit-bull on this and chase these people the hell across the Sabine River, and all the way back to Liberaland.
These people are demons.
Virtually everyone running the public school system is demonic.
I'm sorry, perhaps that sounded like it was said with exaggeration, or metaphorically.
It wasn't.
