How would you change the policy? This is one policy I do not dislike.

Good thing Obama doesn’t use “Water-Boarding.”

Is this what the Nobel committee had in mind when they proactively awarded their coveted Peace Prize to Obama in 2009?

Even the old USSR at least went to the effort of a “trial in absentia”.

And...
What about Obama's "if we could save just one life...?"
He doesn't seem too concerned about the collateral damage from a drone strike.
I guess the "one life" meme only applies when taking rights away from law-abiding Americans.

So before we could put a drone on a person who is fighting with our enemy in a foreign land we should have a trial? Seems like that could cost lives. I respect your opinion but in this case Obama has it right.
The liberals seem to agree with you. I will admit it could be a slippery slope if taken too far.

Article I Section 9 Clause 3:
“No Bill of Attainder or ex post facto Law shall be passed.”
In the time honored tradition of classic despots, Hussein is unconstitutionally attainting American citizens.

So just to be clear if Americans are fighting with al queda you believe we should not target them.
To: chopperjc
So just to be clear, extrajudicial executions of American citizens is unconstitutional.

I understand your argument. I personally disagree.
I have seen something I never thought I would see today though, Glen Greenwald, Jeremy Scahill, and David Sirota on the same side as free Republic. Full moon tonight :)
To: chopperjc
Not my argument. The Constitution. Get it?

No need to be nasty because I disagree. We have a Supreme Court that disagrees over the constitution all the time. You get it?
To: chopperjc
You have a LOT to learn..
Are you even American?
