BUSTI - A Jamestown man dressed as the Joker from the Batman films has been charged following a bizarre incident Sunday at a Lakewood restaurant.
The Lakewood-Busti Police Department in a news release said Aaron A. Chase, 24, walked into the Applebee's Restaurant on Fairmount Avenue around 10:45 p.m. Police said Chase was dressed in all black, wearing a green wig and paint on his face similar to the Joker in Batman.

Occupy Wall Street bum wandering around

Another example of moral inversion. Remember when people wanted to the Hero and not the villain?
Won’t be too long before some guy pulling that kind of BS ends up with six or seven bullets in his chest.
With this charge in the Ledger, I wonder if he’ll get Bale.
... probably ordered the Cesar salad with Romero cheese . . .
After that disturbing Heath Ledger portrayal I think I’d be reaching for my holster with my right hand and dialing 911 with my left.

"Man Dressed As Joker Charged With Trespassing At White House"
Not in NY state you won't. I figure this guy realized everyone in NY state soon won't be able to (legally) own a gun anyways... so he may as well bring attention to the needs of the mentally disturbed... oh, and legalization of marijuana would be a good secondary cause... then maybe occupy Wall Street third.
Lakewood is about as far away from Wall Street as you can be... on the shore of Chautauqua Lake, home of Southern Tier Brewing.
Maybe the guy just wanted a beer?
“...especially in a situation where a person dresses up in this manner...”
But, thousands of folks will flock to the theater, plunk down $10-$15 to watch “a person (that) dresses up in this manner...”
Oh, and just in case...ban Halloween.
Is that what one has to do to get service in Applebee’s?
The funny thing is, just the day before the same guy was arrested for possession of pot.
I’m betting this got him a lot more press than that first arrest did.
At least he got the look right, unlike the Dark Knight Rises mass murderer. Unless the MSM just made it up that he was trying to look like the Joker, which is possible.
If I recall correctly we’d fight over who got to be Han Solo, who was the cooler one. Then again Luke was more powerful, so it was win-win. Something similar happened with Wolverine versus Cyclops. But with the former there was also Darth Vader, who was coolest of all.
So, no, I don’t remember when people didn’t want ti be the villain.
