While I can understand the concept here, and it sure beats the hell out of midnight basketball, it just seems wrong. In Obama's America we celebrate diversity then break off into our own separate groups. Would a whites only science fair be tolerated?

“They hear ‘Who do you think you are?’” Really....who do they hear that from? Pure BS. This is a racist and discriminatory event. And the ones it is really hurting are the black kids. They are showing by their actions, that they think their own kids are somehow inferior. Why do they have to have their own science fair? Throw them into the competition with the white kids and Asian kids. The competition will produce sharper AMERICAN minds. I worked with a lot of Americans who are black in the military. They were plenty sharp.

I was about to post nearly the same thing, but you beat me to it. The concept of encouraging scientific scholarship among blacks is a good one, but a similar gathering of a “white” scientific gathering would never past any realistic morality code, and it would certainly be stopped in its tracks.

A gathering of Asian scientists would have a long line of people in line waiting for an opening. It too would not past the censorship police.

Uh, no. Just like there are no “White Engineers” months, “Society of White Engineers,” “White Women in Engineering,” “National Association for the Advancement of White People,” “United Caucasian College Fund,” “White Entertainment Television,” ad infinitum, ad nauseum.

The people who push all of ethnic and racist stuff are just that - ethnicists (a new word?) and racists. As most are probably liberals and Obama voters, they are exposed as the true racists because they are obsessed with skin color, of all things.
