Well, they’ve been untouchable, haven’t they? These are the people who, led by clever scoundrels like Bill Ayers, have figured out how to play the system that so many here, and not only here, like to think was created perfect by the Founders. You can beat the casinos at blackjack and you can beat a democratic republic all the time playing by its rules. The Constitution is not a suicide pact famously said a Supreme Court Justice, so famously that I can’t remember his name, but it was a false if brave declaration.

Great Steyn! But it’s one of the most depressing commentaries I have read, or at any rate, its subject is. When Hillary made her breathtakingly callous and arrogant remark, I was sure that the Administraton had finally gone too far. But within ten minutes,I learned that it was being triumphantly tweeted around the world by the media as being the best defense ever, a courageous and devastating response to the petty minds of those who would question this regime, and the ringing final statement on the matter.
Steyn’s right. What does reality matter to this regime? We’re all being forced to live in the delusional world inside our dictator’s head.
I don’t know what can free us.

Not enough.
The idea around which “liberalism” coheres is that nothing actually matters except PR - and our journalists presume that they have all the divisions there can possibly be in a PR battle. But that will only matter so much when the shelves are bare and the gas stations have no fuel for sale - and we can’t get electricity or heating fuel in the wintertime.

The commenter speaks for many of us: “For shame Madame Secretary. For shame your too-late tears. And that’s just Benghazi”.
“What difference does it make that they buggered Amb Chris Stevens and dragged him still alive though suffocating on his own socks through the streets of Benghazi, the burqa-d evil hags ululating while al Qaeda’s henchmen desecrated him still more under the all-seeing eyes of our oddly ineffectual drones?
What difference does it make that former Navy SEALs Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty deserted their posts at the Annex to go out into the night to save their Ambassador and fellow Americans, forsaking all because it was their solemn deadly duty – while David Petraeus and Hillary Clinton watched it all unfold in a Washington bunker, and did nothing?
And they died just like US Navy SEALs, ammo all spent, hunched over their guns. Oh, the brave brave honorable men. What difference does it make?
What difference does it make that computer specialist Sean Smith – husband and father of two – signed off with a last message before al Qaeda’s jackals came over the walls, with a premonition that he would not survive the night in a compound about which endless frantic requests for security upgrades / enhancements had gone unheeded?
For shame Madame Secretary. For shame your too-late tears. And that’s just Benghazi.
What difference does it make if this President now shreds our cherished Bill of Rights and the Second Amendment to the Constitution?
What difference does it make that our vaunted Free Press only speaks for the government – and does so willingly without duress?
What difference does it make if our front line offensive units – the finest Infantry * ever to march the Earth – are now feminized and neutralized and defeated piecemeal in battle wherever they are sent?
What difference does it make if in all-male barracks in China (Red China) and Russia and North Korea, in Iran and Venezuela and Cuba tough men are sharpening their skills to crush the soft sissified units of the United States Armed Forces and then rape and pillage and carry off our children?
What difference does it make that God is no longer welcome in our Public Square, that the institutions of Faith themselves have lost their way to the false gods of the Left, that our Churches are empty because our People no longer believe in the sanctity of Life, in the Greatness of their Nation, in their ability to achieve rather than to merely suck down the product of their neighbors’ efforts?
When all is now hopeless and lost, what difference does it make?
America will be back. I do believe that. We are and remain the New Jerusalem. The Left is the “What Difference Does It Make” Crowd. There is still some spirit and spunk within us. We are still a Nation of Believers. We still have our Second Amendment, for now - though our Free Press has cast its lot with Tyranny. We have to counter the lies of the pro-government / Tyrant’s Press. And, they will have to come and get our guns. We simply must defeat the Tyrannical Left if we are to survive as a Nation.
It All Makes a Difference, Madame Secretary. Benghazi makes a difference. The Second Amendment makes a difference. We shall prevail.

When it comes to facing the music, Obama is peerless at making a song and dance about tunes nobody’s whistling without ever once warbling the real big numbers (16 trillion). But, like Beyoncé, he’s totally cool and has a cute butt.
America is headed down the broad road to Hell. If the rapid slide isn't stopped soon, we will all end up in burning in the flames and we will deserve it!
I think those glasses that Hilary is wearing are total BS. Just part of the play that she is acting out.
