"grenade launcher or rocket launcher"
Gosh, It's going to be illegal to own a grenade launcher or rocket launcher? Bummer.

No compromise.
The Bill of RIghts is NOT subject to legislative compromise.
Give them an inch and they will take a mile.
The very next time a madman goes amuck thye will say this was not enough and come back for another bite, and another bite and another bite.
What many liberals and some gun owners fail to recognize is that once you have set a legislative precedent for this kind of action, it will expand.
I want a law REQUIRING all teachers to qualify with a handgun and carry concealed at work. It should be an occupational requirement.
That’s MY compromise.

If threaded barrels are prohibited, how is a barrel to be mated to the receiver?

Once Senators spend so much time in Washington, they think they’ve been appointed “GOD”.
Do her constituents want this or does she want this ban?

Democrats can’t stand the thought that somewhere, somplace, a person is free and not under their control.

What part of "shall not be infringed" is unclear? Banning goes well beyond infringement. The bill forces registration which we know is the prelude to confiscation.

I don’t do recreational drugs so I wish the commie lib ‘RATS would explain to me what makes a rifle with a “pistol grip” more deadly than one without a “pistol grip”. The commie ‘RATS must have a thing against “pistol grips”.

It's working folks. Sanding firm and massive buying has spooked them. This is scaled WAY back from her original draft turning everything into an NFA weapon.
We should plan on the spineless republicans caving and this passing. We need to know the implementation date, Jan 1 2014 ? Anyone know ?
In the meantime...

It looks to me like a Ruger Mini-14 would not be on the list.
In 1994 Wayne LaPierre went on the Sunday morning news shows and compared the Mini-14 to an AR15 to show how arbitrary and ridiculous the ban was.
I can't believe DiFi made the same mistake again.

This bill will never make it out of committee. Good luck getting more than a handful of Dems to vote for it. I cannot imagine Dingy Harry ever bringing this to the floor of the Senate for a vote.

I would be upset if I still owned any guns. Fortunately I threw all my guns in the trash after Sandy Hook. I was afraid they would kill me.

So what the hell Pookie and Ray-Ray are going to do? Stop buying them off the streets because they are illegal?!
They are talking about law abiding citizens, not ghetto thugs. Disarming us so resistance to the New World Order will not be a difficult transaction! Obey, it's for your own good! [sarc]

If you want to continue to live with constitutional limits on government’s ability to make your life the same as a serf, you better not let them restrict the Second Amendment by bad laws such as this.
Please write, contact or email your federal senators and congressman (even if they are weasel Democrats) and tell them you are against any infringement on the Second Amendment. If you sleep on this issue, there will be a day when you wake up as an enslaved serf with the boot of a government agent on your neck.

Law bans the sale, or TRANSFER of these guns. Does transfer ban mean that you cant will them to your kids and that you have to turn them in when you die?
