From his Facebook fan page: ... but I am shooting the Virtual Inaugural at a speaking event in Redlands, CA on Thursday night at 6:30. I have room for perhaps 100 additional people. If you are able to attend, I can send you the details by writing me at: It'll be fun if you can make it. If you can't you'll see it on Monday, I think. Bill Whittle

And as they do not believe in these principles they can not articulate them to the American people at large. Mr. Whittle has a valid point here.
BINGO! I love Whittle and the way he presents ideas.
hahah “totally looks like” Mr. Jones had quite a lot of makeup on for that photo.
He’s getting older and softer...
Thanks for the ping!
Add me to the ping list!!! I like his Stratosphere Lounge episodes.
I'm getting ready for my NEW THREAD -- going up Monday -- when Bill releases the final version of his "Virtual Inauguration" speech. The new THREAD, of course, is awaiting release of the new VIDEO -- which has not yet been posted. :(
Bill's business partner Jeremy Boreing said that the new, professionally edited video will be up on "Monday" --
...but knowing the creative process as I do, I interpret that to mean sometime before SUNRISE on Tuesday. :)Until then, I will continue to prepare some of the best possible posts to include on that new thread -- like THIS ONE.

Here is a good summary of the video that first introduced Bill's current version of a "Virtual President" to the general public. As we now know, like many of the top public speakers, Bill was using his time out "on the road" Most have also experienced the reverse: Youre having a wonderful dream where something great has happened, About halfway through the video below, I thought to myself, Oh no, this is going to be one of those things where by the end, A beautiful dream, a waking nightmare. But then, near the end, Whittlewhile not saying that he will run for presidentdoes indicate that he will run for "virtual" president. To understand what that means, you simply have to watch. And you should watch this video all the way through, because it is brilliant. This is Whittle off the cuff, answering questions from a pretend press corps as if he were the president. And it really is incredible to hear. Seriously . . . . well worth your time!
This particular 38-minute video is from the "Quesion & Answer" period following

November 23 2012 by Christopher Cook Most of us have experienced this: Youre in one of those bad dreams where something horrible has happened
you wake up, and after you shake off the dream and the sleep and you realize that it was just a dream, you are so relieved.
and then you wake up and discover it isnt real. Not that your waking life is necessarily bad, but the dream was really nice.
I will have become convinced that Bill Whittle IS the president, and then I will have to wake up and remember that Obama actually is.
Whittle is amazing in his Afterburner and Firewall videos, but that amazingness could simply be scripted and well-delivered.

Thanks for adding me! You really know my taste!
Bill's hard-hitting 15-minute address at Restoration Weekend really resonated with the "base" of the Republican party,From The Dryer Report:
who have grown weary of the squishy "establishment" Republicans inside the Beltway, who often sound like "Democrat Lite."
Awesome! Thanks for the ping!
Thanks for this Ping List. I always enjoy Bill Whittle. I fond he articulates conservatism better than just about anyone.

A Lesson in Irony Take the Food Stamp program
By Harvey Miller
November 23, 2012
This year the Food Stamp Program (SNAP) administered by the U.S.Department of Agriculture is proud
to be distributing the greatest amount of free meals and food stamps ever to 47 million people.Meanwhile, the National Park Service administered by the U.S. Department of the Interior asks us
"Please Do Not Feed the Animals" because animals will grow dependent on handouts and will not learn
to take care of themselves...Animals that are fed by people become dependent on human food, and may lose their
natural fear of humans and their ability to forage for natural foods. There is a lot of truth to
the saying, "a fed animal is a dead animal." In addition to losing their foraging ability,
animals that have been fed are less likely to survive other reasons. Animals that have been
fed from cars congregate near roadways and are at a high risk of being killed by vehicle collisions. In recent years, the National Park Service has had to euthanize deer, coyotes, rock squirrels
and other animals at Grand Canyon that had become overly aggressive towards humans
and/or had become completely dependent on food handouts. Park rangers work to
preserve and protect park resources, including wildlife. NPS staff find it heartbreaking
when they are forced to euthanize animals whose aggressive behaviors were caused by
being fed by well-meaning people. [NPS.gov]
He said that, as a liberal, Louis C.K. would probably be offended that Bill referred to him favorably. It turns out that Louis C.K. was just voted by Rolling Stone magazine as the funniest man in America last year!
(Personally, I had never heard of Louis C.K. -- since I don't watch much TV.
From The 50 Funniest People Now: Louis C.K. | Rolling Stone:
In 2013, Louis C.K. is the Great American Comedian: our chubby, schlubby, ginger-haired conscience, id, and jester-in-chief.You can watch some young professionals [slackers] talking about Louis C.K.'s "Everything is Amazing, and Nobody's Happy" here:He's a poet of existential malaise, but his signature standup bit, "Everything is Amazing and Nobody's Happy,"
extols the beauty of life and the magic of modern technology...

Almost there..!This may end up eating yet another TSL tomorrow and/or Thursday.
