At most inaugural events the sartorial buzz is about what designer dress the First Lady is wearing. But yesterday everyone was more interested in a Supreme Court Justices hat. Many people were left wondering: Why is Antonin Scalia wearing a renaissance era painters hat?

Oklahoma State Senator defines the government of the People.
Great speech.
His Execrable Majesty should read and heed.
There are three branches of government: Executive, Judicial and Legislative.
If the Executive is tearing down our Constitution, why are the two other branches quiet and not doing something about it?
There seems to be a dictatorship by consent.
I can’t stop thinking about this. Where is the opposition to this revolutionary coup? Why are they all silent? So many crimes have been committed, atrociously unconstitional acts - what to speak of massive election fraud and an ineligible president.
Where are they? Are they on board/just greedy/sickening cowards, all of them?
Nice quote.
Perhaps we are already a dictatorship under the guise of an Executive branch with the total compliance and cooperation of the Judicial and Legislative branches.
Perhaps government is just a bunch of smoke and mirrors and the American people are incorrectly under the impression that they are still living in a republic but that the Gulags are under construction but that the schedule is a little behind.
Perhaps this was the last presidential inauguration and 11/6/2012 will be the last general election on record.
yes, it is a generic hat, and without the feather it is also part of the usual costume of lawyers back then. But it was given to Scalia by the Acton institute to celebrate Thomas More day, so a lot of us think he’s not wearing it to send a message that he likes Rembrant.
I don’t think our Constitutional Republic is over. I think it’s deathly ill and we’re going to be having a healing crisis.
There seems to be a dictatorship by consent.
Seems to me that you answered your own question.
What's he going to do to bring the broken-man Roberts back into line?

If the hat keeps him healthy, that’s all I care about.

To say that Justice Thomas looks unhappy would be the understatement of the year. Oh, my.
Great questions little jeremiah! I ask them myself all the time. The only thing I've been able to come up with is this:
The love of money (power) is the root of all evil.
Rev.6
1.[4] And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword. 2.[8] And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.
Rev.13
1.[5] And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months. 2.[7] And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.
Rev.16
1.[8] And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire.
They have been given the power (money). They know that they have been given the power and are about to exercise it. What else makes sense? I can't think of anything else that would explain the liberal disease.
If you have a different hypothesis little jeremiah, I would love to hear it. I hope it to be less sinister than mine, nevertheless, I believe that the Lord is about to let Satan loose just as the Word says He will.

As far as the Dems, they chose the Dark Side in toto. That’s it, they chose evil knowingly, end of story.
It’s the Rs that stymie me. I think it breaks down into several categories, just off the top of my head:
1. The Globalist/socialist “lites” who are really on board with the Dem agenda but just want it more covert and slow.
2. The ones who lust after power and money and of course the perks that come with power and money, and they make noises that sound sort of “conservative” to get elected so they can keep and get more power and money.
3. Gonadless/principle-less cowards.
4. A few good ones (Bachmann comes to mind, and some others like Gowdy) who do say things - for instance, Bachmann really stood up about the Moslem infiltration in gov - and what happens? They get slammed to the floor by the above 3 categories. So the good ones can’t do anything.
I’m not a Satan believer per se, but I do believe in Evil with a capital E. And the God given Laws of Nature, and natural consequences, and we are going to see some pretty intense natural consequences in action. IMHO.
I would not be in a big city, especially DeeCee, for the next 2 years for any amount of money. Actually I always feel like that because I hate cities, but especially the next couple of years.
