I cleaned my gun dreaming of Galveston. Does that count?
Except in Arizona people conceal their guns because they want to. With open carry they get too hot to comfortably handle much of the year. So if you see a gun in Arizona, your immediate thought should be to identify nearby cover.
You gotta be kidding. I wouldn't be going to Texas just to have a nicer life for myself and my family, leeching off the benefits of conservative policy & beliefs. I'd be going there because its where someone as conservative as me belongs.
Besides, Central and Southern Illinois are a lot more conservative than anything north of I-80. Chicago ruins it for us all.
And another thing. My beautiful. intelligent, and very conservative daughter can't find a young man up this way she'd like to spend the rest of her life with. I'm hoping we can do better in a higher concentration of conservative guys. BTW, she'd be ticked at me for mentioning it, so lets just keep this between you and me. ;)
LOL! Some of my viking ancestors tried that little trick with Greenland vs Iceland. Not gonna work on me. But what are you going to do with yet another old school Baptist to contend with? Oh well. If Texas is the foxhole, I may just jump in and ask permission later. Dodging enemy rounds is my objective at the moment. But it’ll be OK. I’m sure we’re on the same page on like 98% of all things conservative, with me being probably more conservative than you on the 2% where we differ. Just sayin ...
Where is Austin? I should be able to see Austin.
Ok, come on down...Houston was just rated the “Coolest city in America” by Forbes Magazine...great place for young people.
Conservatives fit right in around here...
Haven’t been to SA in a long time. It’s really nice. Just like the hills and river in Austin.
Not really ... I open carry my .45 H&K into Dennys on a fairly regular basis

Yep, I see my dot and my neighbor’s too. Neighbors all over Texas in fact. :)
No the lower fraction of gun owners in Austin is balanced somewhat by the higher population density. There should maybe be more of a peach color over Austin, reflecting a lower density of dots, not a total absence.
Tell your wife that I was born here in Texas over 75 years ago, and have never seen a live tarantula here — outside of a terrarium.
