There needs to be a blue dot on Austin. It’s full of leftist freaks.
You must have missed the story. All the gun owners were having a big "Guns and Boats" party and a large storm came up, capsizing all the boats, and all their guns AND ammo were lost in this tragic accident. ;-)
All the coastal islands have withdrawn from the U.S. and formed their own seperate government, Their new Capitol is down at the Balinese. A couple of good ole boys with beards i heard.
Even the communists and hippies in Texas own guns, though.

True, except it has nothing to do with Austin. Heck, a huge percentage of the people living there weren’t even born in Texas. They are left coast and north easterners come here to “save” us backwards Texans. Every time you see some really stupid, screwball idea being pushed, the group behind it is almost always located in Austin.
If we reduced the population of that Austin to people that were actually born in Texas, it might be savable. Without some way to delouse it, it is hopeless.
Don’t forget the scorpions! Huge scorpions. And the hurricanes too. Look at what happened to Galvaston. You’re probably better off staying where you are in Illinois.

Really? I live here and I think San Antonio is much better. Austin is ok, unless you want to actually carry your groceries in plastic bags.
It gets hot for a few months, but the fall & spring are glorious...Houston almost doesnt have winters anymore...just a few freezes per yr lately.
I have seen tarantulas at the Oasis in Austin, but heat and tarantulas should not be enough to keep you and your wife away...
Our Governor just invited law-abiding NY’ers to come on down to Texas and bring their guns, so I bet he would welcome you too...
Wichita Falls, NW of Dallas. Boring town, but the 2nd most Conservative district in the country. Democrats know where they stand here.... :-D
Too funny. There’s an old joke truckers tell about a certain nationwide trucking company whose trucks are painted completely Orange in color, and how to tell the driver’s been with the company for awhile. The joke is about how the newly employed drivers are issued white trucks, and each time the driver “screws up” he/she gets an orange dot painted on their trucks.
It’s all in good humor. There are many jokes truckers tell about all the major trucking companies.
This thread reminded me of that old truckers joke.

I can assure you that Texas does NOT have any idea of who ALL of the gun owners are (as implied by the headline)!
None of my guns were purchased after they began background checks/registration and that applies to many of the people that I know.
