A good question, who the hell needs armor-piercing bullets from ordinary citizens?
Germans who wish to use firearms should join the SS or the SA ordinary citizens dont need guns, as their having guns doesnt serve the State. Heinrich Himmler
Ghost of a past we don't want repeats. Sent chills to my being.

Hes read the Declaration of Independence and understands the Second Amendment.
He is one of the oppressors disarming the patriots who would remove the oppressors by force. He knows this is not about hunting or the children.

Aren’t armor piercing bullets already banned for the general public? H.R.3132 became Public law on 8/28/1986 Law No: 99-408

Taking away assault guns is proof in itself that people need assault guns.

I would like to ask Panetta if he has any information regarding Fast & Furious...under oath (as if an oath matters to a democRAT/socialist/liberal).

He’s right. They don’t need them but they want them and the point is that banning them is either just a symbolic act or just the beginning.

Why should a sec of def have an opinion that matters on domestic policy?
And besides, if i was a politician like him, i would worry more about a scoped 308 waaaay more than some silly assault rifle.

Panetta’s statements effectively deny the purpose of the unorganized militia and the fundamental purpose of the Second Amendment. Any person who denies the fundamental purpose of the Second amendment is unfit to serve as an officer of the Federal, State, or local governments where an oath to protect and defend the Constitution is required. Panetta should resign from office or be removed from office by the U.S. Congresx for breaching his oath of office.
