Last week Anderson Cooper took on some of the more ridiculous conspiracy theories about the tragic Sandy Hook shooting, one in particular claiming that the shooting simply never happened. But tonight, Cooper took on perhaps one of the most shocking theories of all: the whole shooting was a gigantic conspiracy to take away people’s guns.
Cooper reminded viewers of the Florida professor who has been pushing the conspiracy theories, and revealed that said professor reacted to his initial report with a blog post attacking Cooper for “wanting to cause him harm.” Cooper said that the professor has his rights to free speech, and just wanted to hold him accountable for his comments. The professor is also part of a growing conspiracy that the media is falsely reporting on the shooting in a concerted effort to take away people’s guns.
Cooper patiently debunked theories about the media coverage of the shooting, and brought on two guests, one of whom was the family member of an Aurora shooting victim, to address the conspiracies. Cooper pointed out much of the evidence cited is based on initial reporting, which Cooper admitted can often be inaccurate. Alex Seitz-Wald said many conspiracy theorists are taken in by confirmation bias and ignore any evidence that contradicts their conspiratorial beliefs.

There is a conspiracy but it involves jumping on an incident when it happens. If only one out of 100 million people is crazy enough to go on a school shooting rampage that leads to 3 incidents a year on average. The gun grabbers only have to wait for the crazies to emerge.
Yep. Hillary signed the UN Small Arms Treaty that wants the name of every gun owner in America, and suddenly medicated boys are out shooting people. Two more today at two colleges.
People know something smells fishy. They're just not sure what it is.
People can sense things. The democrats need gun deaths to get their UN treaty completed, and out of the blue, they're getting all they need - right on schedule. What are the odds this would be happening "naturally"?

Absolutely noticing the silence. Bear in mind the following things:
1. Somebody destroyed Lanza’s hard drive. It is assumed by the public that it was Lanza himself. It is a fact nobody was there to witness that.
1a. Who is being protected by the destruction of the hard drives? Evidently there was something there that was hidden.
2. Someone shot Lanza’s mother while she was in the bed. Again, it is assumed it was Lanza- supposedly only he and his mother were there.
3. The timing is quite convenient for the administration. The Giffords shooting (and her becoming a stuffed toy to be trotted out as a poster child for gun control), the Aurora shooting, and now Newtown, complete with dead children. Not a Reichstag fire individually, but certainly Reichstag matches. All taking place right on the eve of national bankruptcy. And now our future Fuhrer wants his Enabling Act.
4. It is a known fact that there are parts of the government that lie, and assassinate people. It is in fact their job. We generally don’t mind when they are doing it overseas, but they are definitely not supposed to do that on our own soil.
5. The news media that reports all this stuff is pretty much in the back pocket of the administration- even Fox News, to a lesser extent than MSNBC. You are only going to see what the propaganda machine wants you to see.
Suspicious much? Yes...Yes, I am. Suspicious that a massive fraud is being committed in order to neuter a major freedom. Suspicious that someone is being set up to become a dictator- absolutely. A long study of history shows that all this isn’t new and has been done before.
Life is getting that way, now.
Check my last post. My main source is all the “gun nut” FReepers who watched the video and identified the weapon in previous threads. I’m not knowledgeable enough to say it’s a Saiga for sure, but I can certainly tell that it isn’t a rifle, since the video shows a shotgun shell being ejected at 0:06 and rifles do not fire shotgun shells.
The interviews were very strange. Especially the mothers...seemed like a version of Stepford wives, no one was too upset or angry (expect when they wanted assault weapon gun control). Then told nice little stories of their loved one, that died 2 days earlier (no tears)
That report of the “4 handguns only” came from federal officials not the police who entered the school. The feds were stating things that the locals had to continually correct and stomp on.
In all pity, people often behave in absurd and inappropriate ways when confronted with horrible loss.
Hillary’s whole political life has involved conspiracies, I followed her for years and she’s the master of cover-ups.
Communists/socialists, have the patience to work for years to reach their goals. Their playbook is Rules for Radicals.
All the years I was busy raising my children I was unaware of what was going on. Half of our population is still unaware - or just doesn’t care. God help us!
You'd think at least ONE of them would have been freaking out. If anything happened to one of my kids, I wouldn't be able to stand it. I'd cry night and day. They acted like they just missed a sale at Walmart!

I watched that over and over Max, and I was astounded. My daughter died two months ago and there is no way a grieving parent could do what he did. No Way! Things just aren’t right with all of this.....
